smart defrag update message

I had advanced system care installed the free version

I started getting these update messages about smart defrag 5

Since I DONT use it i ignored it

But it kept coming back

So I uninstalled advanced system care since i hardly use that

and i used the iobit uninstaller which i love by the way

But i still get the message when i start windows to update to smart defrag 5

so I went and checked and deleted anything on my hard drive related to advanced system care and smart defrag, thought that was what the uninstaller was for though

I had to delete several keys in my registry too

and yet you guessed it i still smart defrag update message when i restart windows

i used a registry cleaner and there is nothing about smart defrag in there now

i find nothing in my msconfig about it

i find nothing about smart defrag at all and really dont want to uninstall my iobit stuff, just the malware and uninstaller, to try and get rid of this

I have emailed tech support and they just keep telling me to use the uninstaller, which i have , did i mention that?

does anyone have any ideas where there might be something hiding about smart defrag?

Hello Godbecky,

Would you please take a screenshot of the notification of Update?

And please get information when the notification pops-up.

Please run the tool you downloaded when the notification is still there.

Please download the tool from: http://testdemo.iobit.com/SD5InfoHelper.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Thanks for your time.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
