7. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, but I am already using the new Microsoft edge and this error code is different from mine. I would like to know if advanced system care may have removed old driver packages, as the error is related to that and if so I'd like to know how to prevent that from happening.

8. Conversion to ”Internet Security” software wont make it better. And I dont think this app is meant to have firewall and those things. With HIPS, IDS, IPS, I agree having some additional security layer on that side. Cloud too, need a rebuild.

12. Today’s industries work on a different platform together, where android application development is a completely different ballgame! Industries that want to take the lead in android application development approach mobile app development with a youthful spirit. They are always a step ahead of their competitors and think beyond the convention. They creatively and innovatively engage with their clients and blend with their web development and design environments so that they are able to get the much needed mileage right from the start.

13. Hi Laurie Glad all is now well. As for the trojan.....no anti-malware/anti-virus is 100% effective. There are just too many threats out there. Most likely you got the trojan in a download from a re-seller. That is why I always go to Majorgeeks. It is also good practice to have a second anti-malware program, which you would run maybe once a month just to get a second opinion. (Never run them both together....temporarily disable your main program while you run the other) Let us know if you have any other issues.

14. Hi Laurie. It is fine to use the existing Iobit Uninstaller. I did not realise that you already had it. Choose every item on the list and delete everything. Then follow the steps I gave you previously to ensure that any residual folders are deleted. go to file explorer ....C:\Program Files (x86)\Iobit and delete any ASC Folder. Also go to..... C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\Iobit .....and delete any ASC Folder Before you install ASC again, you should temporarily disable your Antivisus/antimalware programs (including Windows Defender). This ensures that there are no accidental mis-haps with the installation. Reinstall ASC. When it is installed, make sure that Smart Ram is disabled in the settings. Open the Performance monitor and see if it is working correctly, before you re-enable your Antivisus/antimalware programs (including Windows Defender). Then Enable your Antivisus/antimalware programs.

15. Hi laurie Sorry to hear you are having issues. Firstly...ASC....It is no harm to Uninstall ASC again. Iwould however suggest that rather than using ASC's own Uninstall, that you download and use Iobit Uninstaller to remove ASC. Download it only from Majorgeeks. It does a better job of removing remnants.....here is a link to all the Iobit Product Manuals...so you can see the functions and settings available. https://www.iobit.com/en/product-manuals.php Again after the uninstall, perform the steps I gave previously to ensure any residual folders are removed. Before you install ASC again, you should temporarily disable your Antivisus/antimalware programs (including Windows Defender). This ensures that there are no accidental mis-haps with the installation. When it is installed, make sure that Smart Ram is disabled in the settings. I would not be concerned with IMF finding a Trojan, while the recycle bin was being cleaned. It was probably a legacy item that had been there a while. I am sorry, but there is no way for me to tell if the IMF log is related to $R9SJ890.exe....but as I said it is probably a legacy item. Also, it is unnecessary to shred the files in the recycle bin, unless they are sensitive/personal files that you want to ensure can never be recovered. Under normal emptying of the recyle bin, the files can still be recovered by special software. The shredder just prevents that. IMF does monitor the entire PC, including ASC. I hope your issue will now be resolved.

18. Hi laurie Sorry to hear your issue is not resolved. 1) I now have a "StartMenuExperienceHost" runs all the time I don't think I need it, how do I delete it? (attached image) You should leave StartMenuExperienceHost alone. It helps your Start menu to run smoothly. 2) windows defender screen protector, how do I disable or block it from running? Launch Windows Defender Security Center from your Start menu, desktop, or taskbar. Click the App and browser control button on the left side of the window. Click Off in the Check apps and files section. Click Off in the SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge section. 3) Windows "redistributable" programs (attached image) can I delete all? The 2010 versions showed up in the recent Win 10 update. I recommend that you do not delete these. They are part of the Windows Runtime System. Even though they are showing as old versions, it is best to leave them alone. Removing them has been known to cause issues with Windows Updates. Regarding the Performance Monitor issues......yes, I think you should uninstall ASC and re-install it to see if it corrects the issue. Use Iobit Uninstaller to remove it and ensure you use the option to remove all remnants. Also, go to file explorer ....C:\Program Files (x86)\Iobit and delete any ASC Folder. Also go to..... C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\Iobit .....and delete any ASC Folder Reinstall ASC. Let me know if you have any further issues

19. I strongly recommend that you read the many posts/topics in the Smart Defrag section of the Forum regarding defragging and auto-defragging. It is completely unnecessary to be continuously defragging your drive, and certainly reduces the lifespan of your drive.

20. Open Task Manager. Scroll down the list of processes until you see Performance Monitor. Right click on it and end task. This will close the Performance Monitor. If you have Auto Ram selected in ASC settings, I recommend you un-select it. Auto cleaning ram is not a good idea. You can restart the Performance Monitor by right clicking on the ASC icon in the taskbar and click..Open Performance Monitor.

29. been building computers for 20 years, I have run system care(not their virus/malware software) for many years along with Malwarebytes, once I listed it to ignore system care everything was fine, I use nortons for my virus work and all 3 work well together. The reason thai laptops are slow is becaue the stores tend to load a heap of pirate ware onto them and that is what the customers want, they do not want to pay for the registered software, even the windows they load is a pirate copy unless it was free with the laptop. My wife bought a new one for work and I had to delete a heap of crap programs that were slowing it down a hell of a lot, yes a ssd drive does speed things up but lacks the storage room in most cases unless you want to spend a lot more, depends really what you do on your pc as well as how often you use it. I do a lot of work on mine(2 hard drives), pics, writing etc and find everything works fine for me, drivers are updated and never had a problem with them, malware is restricted, dont have bugger all problems some are making out but then I do pay for all my software and dont use freebies or pirated stuff, think it boils down to what each person wants or likes, to each his own. EDIT: Spam Link deleted

30. Hi there, We are afraid that the notification can't displayer sooner. It will show up after your system totally boots up. To make your PC startup faster, you can to to Startup Manager to disable those unnecessaries. Have a nice day.
1 point
31. Whether the boot time notification appears a few minutes earlier or later depends on the processing speed of the PC. Also to make the notification appear on the screen, the ASC needs to perform some processes to result in the notification. If you get a faster processor for yourself, you would be able to get the notification fast as well.

32. Useless tool if it doesn't have directions on how to use it. And there is no manual or anything on how to use it. And there are no steps to follow. I would love to play with this and make a black skin for 13, do me a favor Cicely and bug whoever would be responsible for doing the manual or at least enough to get us started on how because I tried fudging my way through and I'm stumped. Thanks & Peace ............

33. Hello, This is Cicely from IObit. It is my honor to explan the following questions. Sometimes I'll defrag the drive within seconds, and then, I'll defrag a 2nd time not even a couple seconds later, but it will take over 30 minutes? What gives? Did you notice the method of the defrag? If you choose Smart Defrag, Smart Defrag will run different defrag methods according to your PC's situation. Each method adopt different algorithm so it may take seconds or hours to finish the task. Why doesn't it get rid of all the fragments, even after defragging repeatedly? If you mean it is on the system disk, it is very normal as the fragmentations are created all the time when the system is running. Smart Defrag is unable to detect the newly created fragmentations. As a result, it will find thousands of fragmentations just after Smart Defrag finishes the defrag. Does it help to keep defragging again and again? It is recommended you defrag your PC once a month. What do the different colors mean? As Scannan said, if you hover over the colours at the bottom of the UI it will tell you what each colour means. And why does it sometimes take a long time to defrag when there aren't any fragments, where as, some times there are fragments but it will defrag in seconds? If there is some large files on the disk, it will need much more time to defrag even if there is no fragmentations. I hope it can help you know Smart Defrag much better.

34. (Sometimes I'll defrag the drive within seconds, and then, I'll defrag a 2nd time not even a couple seconds later, but it will take over 30 minutes? What gives?) This certainly makes no sense, and hopefully Iobit will provide an explanation. (Why doesn't it get rid of all the fragments, even after defragging repeatedly?) Some fragments are called Immovable because they are being used by the system at the time of defragging. Boot Time Defragging is used to enable defragging of these items. (Does it help to keep defragging again and again?) Absolutely not. All you are doing is reducing the lifespan of your drive unnecessarily. I defrag once a month. (What do the different colors mean?) If you hover over the colours at the bottom of the UI it will tell you what each colour means. Also the colours can be changed by the User. (And why does it sometimes take a long time to defrag when there aren't any fragments, where as, some times there are fragments but it will defrag in seconds?) Again, this makes no sense and hopefully Iobit will provide an explanation.

35. How to switch user accounts on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1? 1.Run Start Menu 8, click Start button, then you can find PC Settings on the right side of start menu. If you have not installed Start Menu 8, you can download it here: http://www.iobit.com/iobitstartmenu8.php 2.Then click the arrow next to the Shut Down button on the bottom right of start menu, click Switch User. 3.Then click the user you want to switch to. Warning: Make sure to save any open files before switching users because Windows doesn't automatically save files that are open. If you switch to a different user account and that user shuts down the computer, any unsaved changes you made to files that are open on your account will be lost.

38. There's not much you could complain about with this program, it's a great piece of software! The only thing that would make it amazing is if you could add jailbreak support so you can ssh into your device and install unsigned apps which i find myself dong a lot for testing apps, i would love to see a lot of the features from ifunbox come to this program which you can check out here, http://www.i-funbox.com/ Anyway this is my review 5 stars, can't wait to see whats in the next update and hope i win a free license ;)
