  1. So Windows Defender reports this as Trojan, BUT if you goto the file location, there is another file called "ASCMinerList.db" open that file with notepad and this is what you get: "*://*/*cryptonight.wasm *://*/*deepMiner.js *://*/*deepMiner.min.js *://*/*?proxy=wss://* *://*/*?proxy=ws://* *://*/*coinhive.min.js* *://*/*monero-miner.js* *://*/*wasmminer.wasm* *://*/*wasmminer.js* *://*/*cn-asmjs.min.js* *://*/*plugins/aj-cryptominer* *://*/*plugins/ajcryptominer* *://*/*plugins/wp-monero-miner-pro* *://*/*lib/crlt.js* *://*/*pool/direct.js* *://*/*n.2.1.js* *://*/*n.2.1.l*.js* *://*/*gridcash.js* *://*/*worker-asmjs.min.js* *://load.jsecoin.com/* *://*.coin-hive.com/lib* *://*.coin-hive.com/proxy* *://*.coin-hive.com/captcha* *://*.edgeno.de/* And that list goes on and on. Meaning this was deliberate, and I want a damn refund
  2. Sorry it took long to reply back. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures at this time, my flash drive is at work. If you create a ASC Portable USB and then have it run through all scans, it will download and store the windows updates in a folder (I noticed the folder get's created after a first time run of ASC with the option to check for security vulnerabilities). But it will store every update that you do in that one folder, causing the next system that its ran on to try installing those updates if they aren't on the system (Ignoring if the system is Windows XP, 7, or 8). My question is can a system identifier be added, so that when you get to the security vulnerability portion of the scan, it sees what OS is running, and then creates a subfolder broken down by whichever version of Windows that is running. The other point is after the updates are downloaded, and ASC goes to install them, it creates a temp folder to install the update right off the flash drive. Rather than doing that and burning out a flash drive, why not have ASC copy whichever updates the system needs to the Windows Update folder on the system. Will save on the life of the flash drive and help the updates install much faster. I'll try to get pictures/video within the next few days. That's the best way I can explain it tho haha

  7. ASC Portable I'm a computer tech and I use ASC on every computer that I work on, with that being said I have a Portable version of ASC and have noticed that it saves windows updates to the flash drive. My question is, can these updates be separated? Example if I'm running ASC on a system that's Windows XP, the update files build in a XP folder, and then next time I run ASC on a XP system, if it doesn't have said update it pulls from the XP folder, rather than trying to install any update that the system doesn't see (there have been numerous times that a XP system will try to install Windows 7 updates). And likewise for Windows 7 and Windows 8 And the other thing is when these updates install, for some reason it's reading and writing from the flash drive, would it be possible when it's time to install said updates to have ASC transfer them to the update folder within windows, rather than forcing all that reading/writing to the flash drive? Other than that I love using ASC, solves so many issues. EDIT: Another idea I had in regards to the ASC portable, create a option to check for any updates for it upon use, similar to Malware Bytes or Spybot
