I submitted an e-mail to Iobit Support asking how to remove the Protected Folder entry in the Desktop context menu. I was told to use Advanced System Care but their Context menu tool was insufficient, was unable to perform the task that I wanted.. Advanced System Care is way too intrusive. When I uninstalled it with Iobit Uninstaller in addition to inserting itself in my startup list it also, ironically, inserted itself in many context menus.. Uninstall also had to remove a Registry Entry with many subfolders.an entry in the Iobit folder in Program Data and there is probably an entry for it in the Temp subfolder of my appdata local folder with an undecipherable name.
