  1. What I can say is that for some strange and unknown reason ASC 11 indeed slowed my computer, but with ASC 12 things are different. What I have is ASC 12 pro and the overall settings: - Computer optimization: Top performance (Home user) - Internet Boost: (set according to how you connect to the internet) - Disk optimize: TOTALLY DISABLED (since I have Smart Defrag Pro) - Auto Care: Enable autocare and care for your computer when the system id idle - Auto Clean: Automatically sweep surfing history, cookies, etc - Auto RAM Clean: enabled I do have also Smart Defrag Pro
  2. @Scannan is really good to know that you as well as other moderators and admins have mande their effort, but is really sad to see that iobit is totally disengaging from their customers, the products are good but if they want to improve their reputation and market share indeed they need more engagement with their customers, other software or service companies do offer an outstanding customer support and customer contact like Amazon, Backblaze, Ashampoo, just to name a few. Evev: what you have faced Is something that faced with the paid support, Perhaps we can try to contact iobit via Facebook and Twitter as Scannan mentions, but definitely would be better to have iobit present at the forums and to deliver the service that we paid for
  3. @Cicely do you have any update or info about this suggestion? I really believe that if iobit manages to implement this for Smart Defrag Pro, this will boost Smart Defrag acceptance and will really make this apart from other defragmenter and optimizers
  4. Iobit forum moderators, please help us by making this full message to be delivered to ALL Iobit staff! iobit staff, please take note of this and make it happen!!!
  5. Please improve the Bundleware module by giving the user the option to right click a program flagged as "Bundled program" and selecting "ignore" or something similar. This way each user can have a custom Bundleware module... for example in my case iobit uninstaller detected VSO ConvertXtoDVD as bundleware (???) while in fact this is a MAIN program that I directly installed and NEVER was installed via other software Hope to see this implemented soon!
  6. Hi Cicely, Independent testers have used bitdefender AV and also iobit malwarefighter with bitdefender engine enabled, and the result was that the sole bitdefener AV detected and stoped more malware than iobit malware fighter. btw, I'd appreciate if you reply to my other posts and messages accorss the forum Thanks
  7. I guess you have the trial for ASC Ultimate, my advised is that you purchase ASC pro, is a fact that as you mentions ASC ultimate antivirus engine found a lot of viruses that windows defender has not, but iobit antivirus and antimalware engines are resource heavy and slow down Windows; I suggest yo use a free AV solution like Kaspersky Free AV or Bitdefender free AV, both are well rated and are low on resources
  8. My advise is to use other anti malware solutions, at least I used iobit malware fighter pro and is not a good anti malware solution, don't know if ASC ultimate AV engine is the same or not, and if it is effective or not. But definitely iobit has a lot of work to do to improve their malware fighter software
  9. Indeed you will not notice performance improvement but after 2 or 3 days. In my case I have ASC pro 12, Smart Defrag pro 6, Driver Booster pro 6 & Iobit Uninstaller pro 8; and after 2 days of doing a fresh windows 10 install on my good old latitude XPS 15 (L502X), the performance boost is really noticed, and also my system is running very stable. I don't use Smart Ram, just use the included "Auto RAM Clean" at the pro version of ASC, and it does a very good job in keeping my system responsive, I usually leave my laptop always on because it is also the Plex server, just sometimes do reboots due to software updates or to also let ASC "Startup Manager" do its job of delaying or disabling startup items. But I can say that I'm very satisfied in how those mentioned iobit products are taking care of my system I also purchased in a iobit malware fighter pro licence but definitely this software still needs a LOT of work, it slows down my computer, and as you mention is better to remove iobit malware fighter and use windows defender or other lightweight AV solution, in my case I'm using Kaspersky free AV and I noticed that is less resource hog than windows defender. Finally I have to mention that driver booster pro 6 is outstanding because it updated ALL my drivers (except the nvidia drivers) and one of those drivers included the "free fall sensor" for the HDD, that by default windows 10 is missing the driver. After updating all the drivers detected by driver booster pro, my computer works better and the fan is not turning on so frequently. BUT, the only downside from iobit is that they now rarely participate in the forums and they are not providing a decent technical support (not even paid support)
  10. Hi iobit, any update about this suggestion? as of today I can say that still Smart Defrag when installed is not disabling the weekly schedule of windows built in defrag
  11. iobit: what is the status of this pending item? Why this setting is not enabled by default or as a recommended setting? Any reason for that? Any side effect? perhaps when this setting is disabled, the C drive can be further defragmented and optimized Vs. having this setting enabled?
  12. Now that I'm back at using iobit products and at the forums, this last reply from Cicely caught my attention: To my understanding, having two tools to optimize RAM running at the same time is not a good idea, they will conflict each other. So again: why ASC has the ASC ram module and the Smart RAM module? if a module is designed to work better with certain windows OS versions, then iobit must implement a feature to enable the BEST RAM MANAGER and to disable the other. so far since I installed ASC pro 12 about 2 weeks ago, I am just using ASC ram module and NOT the smart Ram, and so far seems that windows 10 is performing better. iobit, please further explain and elaborate this concern thanks
  13. indeed iobit malware fighter is not one of the best AV solutions, hope iobit really take into consideration my last post here: http://forums.iobit.com/forum/iobit-security-software/iobit-malware-fighter-7/226618-send-your-feedback-for-iobit-malware-fighter-v7?p=226982#post226982
  14. IObit: Is really disappointing how you have changed, in the past your communications and support with your users was way far better, now they are practically non-existent! How come that paid users are not getting the support we paid for????!!! How come that you totally have forgotten the forum and barely reply or contribute in YOUR forum????!! ALL your users deserve a decent forum communication and a decent tech support, and not to mention that users that paid for your products AND PREMIUM support deserve a TOP PREMIUM SUPPORT! See my old post where I was saying to you farewell! and mainly because of the LACK of decent tech support (as well as a BIG problem with ASC pro 11): http://forums.iobit.com/forum/general-forums/general-forum-items/225646-farewell-iobit-it-was-nice-while-it-lasted Also see what other users that paid for PRO products and PREMIUM Tech supports are thinking: http://forums.iobit.com/forum/general-forums/general-forum-items/226218-iobit-support Your are risking to loose loyal customers and avoid catching new customers with that bad attitude form your side! I can say that at least the following products are indeed GREAT and NEAT piece of software that really optimize and improve windows computers: ASC Pro, Smart Defrag Pro, Driver Booster pro & IObit uninstaller but is really a shame that your lack of commitment with the forum and the tech support, is jeopardizing the loyalty and preference from your customers. I remember the days when I was very active in the forums and you (iobit) were also very active in replying to our comments, in taking into account our suggestions and comments... those were glorious days and in those days the feedback from your customers also assisted you in polishing YOUR products. So, is key for iobit to perform the following actions ASAP: Either migrate to a new and better forum platform, or to continue using this forum BUT commit to fully read each and every comment AND reply when needed or requested to consider each and every feedback, and I mean to REALLY consider them, because seems that in the last 5 years you are not considering user comments as you used to do before to implement a TOTALLY new premium/paid support system/platform, the current platform is DREAFUL because a user submit his request AND NEVER receives a confirmation email with the ticket number! and also several requests that we submit get LOST in the LIMBO! and never receive a reply I do really hope that this message is really escalated and delivered to ALL iobit staff up to the Directors and Chiefs. I remember that there is a post from iobit asking to NOT judge them from being a "chinese" company (this in the sense that several users were criticizing and comparing chinese=bad/counterfeit, etc) and to give iobit the opportunity to be considered appart of this sterotype by their top quality products... well... if iobit still wants this, they MUST action the above items! Kind regards
  15. I purchased the Iobit Malware Fighter Pro license on March, 19, 2018, started to use the product ASAP but in less than 2 months I uninstalled iobit Malware Fighter Pro, and the reason for that leads to my suggestions for iobit Malware Fighter 7: - don't know why iobit still is not making iobit malware fighter to participate and appear at independent AV tests and major testing labs, like: https://www.av-test.org https://www.virusbulletin.com/ - even that iobit malware fighter has the bitdefender engine, how come that it performs worst vs bitdefender AV? - PERFORMANCE and SMALL FOOTPRINT, clearly iobit malware fighter is among the WORST malware software in performance and footprint, it is compared to the bloated solutions from Norton and McAfee So, I uninstalled and SO FAR HAVE NOT USED AGAIN, iobit malware fighter pro for the above reasons, but mainly due to the slow performance and big foorprint iobit malware fighter has with my computer And you can see that all the reviews for iobit malware fighter give mediocre or bad comments: https://www.techradar.com/reviews/io...re-fighter-pro https://www.pcmag.com/review/363520/...re-fighter-pro https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/downlo...05017-3249423/ My suggestions would be: 1) iobit to strengthen malware fighter and submit to independent AV tests, so that now malware fighter can also participate in such testings and have REAL word statistics 2) work hard to make malware fighter the best (or one of the bests) anti malware solutions out there 3) AND for me the most important: to vastly improve malware fighter so that is has WAY MUCH better performance and SMALL FOOTPRINT
  16. I decided to give another chance to iobit products, ASC pro 12 indeed shows lots of improvements vs ASC pro 11 (which in fact slowed my laptop), BUT definitely is a big shame and disappointment the truly lack of interest from iobit towards paid customer support and support at the forums. See my past post where I was saying farewell to iobit, and also see the last comment at this post from Scannan. I've mixed feelings right now because after returning back to use the following paid iobit products: ASC pro 12 Smart Defrag Pro 6 Driver Booster Pro 6 iobit uninstaller 6 My computer is performing better vs not having such products, seems that the big culprit was ASC pro 11. and this is good BUT i'm very very disappointed of how iobit support is nowadays, as Scannan and other users have expressed: - iobit support is no longer what it used to be So Robert, I clearly understand your frustration of having paid for a product and not receiving the quality tech support that you deserve. Farewell IObit... It was nice while it lasted - IObit.Com Forums
  17. @Cicely I truly appreciate your effort on assisting me, bus as expressed in other posts, I’m very disappointed of iobit as a company, iobit paid tech support, iobit products and iobit forum. I will no longer use any iobit product due to severe problems with them like performance issues, or ASC Pro making windows act weird due to some registry cleaning routines or some specific optimizations. The iobit malware fighter pro performance issues was very noticeable, there is really a HUGE difference in using my laptop with and without this product. I can say like a 20 to 30% of performance improvement if not using it. I really don’t know what happened and what is happening with iobit but after giving iobit several opportunities, I’m done: 1) not answering my paid support queries 2) new iterations of products like smart defrag, ASC and iobit malware fighter doing more harm than good. Regard
  18. @Cicely the main problem was performance issues, I tested for several days my laptop while iobit malware fighter pro was installed and running and then uninstalled and leave windows defender. My computer was performing way better without iobit malware fighter.
  19. I stoped using iobit products some time ago, due to the lack of paid support and several issues with their products. I’m a computer systems engineer and have moderate experience with Windows OS, and is a fact that two AV cause more harm than good, and I learned the hard way that iobit malware fighter pro was causing sever performance lags in my windows 10 OS, even when it was the only AV installed, after uninstalling it and settling windows defender as the default AV, the performance of my system was restored.
  20. Hi, I have all my licenses codes and information stored locally on my computer in a text file, I think IObit must implement at the IObit website a License vault, so when a user logins there is this option to view the following information for each license acquired: 1) License Code 2) Date of purchase 3) Valid period (valid since <DATE> to <DATE>, for example, valid from 2018-09-30 to 2019-09-30) Also would be a good idea for IObit to implement some kind of License Pack, so that IObit users that have more than 1 license code, can gather all their licenses and generate a license pack, this license pack will offer basically two benefits: A) to have ONE single licences pack code that is VALID for ALL the software that the user has selected, for example, suppose a user that has a pro license for each of the following software: - SmartDefrag Pro - ASC Pro - Driver Booster pro the user will have an option to generate a license pack code that is valid for the 3 softwares, this will be just a single code that the user can use to activate the 3 software B) to offer discount to loyal users and an easier way to renew a license pack instead of having to renew each license code individually, if each license code has different end date, perhaps iobit to offer initially to the users who want to switch from individual license codes to a licence pack, the option to make this license pack expire with the lincese code that has the latest expiration date, for example - SmartDefrag Pro expires 2019-09-30 - ASC Pro expires 2019-12-24 - Driver Booster pro expires 2019-03-23 Then if user decides to consolidate those 3 licenses, then iobit offer a special price for a license pack that has a code VALID for the 3 software, AND with the expiration date of 2019-12-24 This is a very raw idea, but if considered and further worked and polished; This will result in a big benefit for IOBit and users and a win-win relationship
  21. Hi Cicely, and If I have IObit Malware Fighter Pro, there is no need to have Advanced SystemCare Ultimate? thanks
  22. Please a reply to my post, I know that there are other users who would like this clarification. Thanks
  23. I was wandering at the forums and this ports caught my attention. I’m also of the idea that IObit should NOT spam Users of paid versions, I suppose is ok to show some minor pop ups and advertisement for users of free versions. Several years ago I started to use IObit products and really loved them. Then I switched to Iolo’s System Mechanic 12 and returned to IOBit a few months back, and purchased pro versions of: ASC pro, SD pro, Driver booster pro, IObit I uninstaller and IObit malware fighter pro. I Did that purchase due to an amazing deal of 85% off Well. The time I was with the competitor Iolo and System Mechanic just versions 12 and 14 improved my laptop. Version 15 was a big trash and versions 16, 17 and 17.5 are not doing anything to improve my laptop performance. Now that I’ve been using IObit products again I can tell that I really notice a difference vs. using Iolo’s System Mechanic. Having said that, I hope that IObit continues to innovate and improve their products and most important: to continue to hear their customers for upcoming features and suggestions. But IObit really need to re-do their advertising campaigns and processes so that AT LEAST paid users are not annoyed by pop ups. Is great to have at the action center some key information about discounts and promotions. So why not implement to each and every paid version of the product a new tab called “offers & promotions” and inside that tab the paid users can check whenever the want if there is any deal?? Now for free users I understand that advertisement should be ok because IObit is not making any money with the free versions. That is just my opinion. Cheers
  24. I know that Smart Defrag currently has a feature to check HDD and SSD S.M.A.R.T. attributes; but this in ONLY checked on demand when the user clicks that icon. Would be great to go way beyond the competitors and make Smary Defrag to ALWAYS monitor not only the SMART attributes but the OVERALL HDD and SSD Health and performance!!! In this case smart defrag will be smartest and will help in being proactive about HDDs and SSDs status, tear and worn. And to make this even way better: To implement a cloud storage feature (perhaps using Dropbox, box, OneDrive, etc.) to store the data across time for each and every HDD and SSD being worked by Smart defrag. I know that SMART attributes are stored inside each HDD and SSD, but other parameters and statistics to further enhance HDD and SSD health and performance can be implemented by IObit and to never loose track of those parameters to store them at the Cloud.
