  1. Please post suggestions for Smart Defrag in this thread. samr.
  2. After installing 360 beta 2 & enabling all protection I could not access my address book in Yahoo mail. After disabling all protection I could access it again. samr.
  3. Hi solbjerg & enoskype, The optimization bug is still there in v. 3.3.3, but enoskype's suggestion is right on the money. I hadn't noticed that the optimization menu was blank. samr.
  4. ASC 3v. 3.3.0 seems to have a bug. Maintain Windows scan works fine, but"Diagnose System" scan does not. When you start the scan, the blue flashing arrow that should be to the left of "System Optimization" is appearing above the "Functions" button and the scan never starts. samr.
  5. Hi solbjerg & Ted, "Let Windows decide" did not fix the menu color scheme, but this works: (XP)Right click desktop-properties-appearance-advanced, under items select "menu" then change the color to white-OK-Apply. Menus are back to white now. samr.
  6. Hi Ted, Thanks for the info, but it didn't work for me. Switched it off & back, but the drop menus were still grey. However, my toolbar in IE8 went completely black. I had to use system restore to get it back. Oh, well, maybe they will fix it. I can live with grey for now. samr.
  7. Actually, there are now grey shadows on all menus on the computer! I have tried to find a way to turn this off in Advanced Settings, but can't do it. Seems to be a bug caused by Security 360. samr.
  8. Hi Ted, I have also noticed the grey drop down menu in IE 8 since re-installing 360.Strange! samr.
  9. So far 360 beta 1.1 seems to have fixed the problem with AVG crashing when I boot up XP. However, it still shows my antivirus as eTust and I have AVG (even windows security center shows AVG). I did have eTrust years ago, so thinking there may be a stray registry entry I contacted support on the eTrust and got manual removal instructions. None of the registry entries that they had listed were in my computer. So there may still be a bug there. samr.
  10. I tried 360 beta 1.1 on Windows 2000 with Avira Free Antivirus. So far there are no problems with Avira starting as there was with beta 1.0, however it still does not detect the Avira. It shows " No Antivirus". samr.
  11. Hi ejuann, No, the two programs are completely different and can be used together. samr.
  12. Starting today I had a new problem start on Windows 2000. Avira update started having a problem. avnotify.exe "The Instruction 0x77Fcad23referenced memory at 0x00000010. The memory cannot be read." I removed Security 360 and it works fine now. samr.
  13. I too am having problems with Security 360 and AVG Internet Security. Seemed to work ok last night, but today when I boot up, AVG crashes every time. "avgdumpx.exe encountered a problem and must close..." The only fix I could find was to un-install Security 360. I guess I am also out until next release. samr.
  14. The program also doesn't recognize AVG antivirus on Windows 2000. samr.
  15. Hi 333 halfevil, I only have AVG. Had etrust about 3 years ago. Maybe a stray registry entry? samr.
  16. Looks great so far. One strange thing- it shows that I am running etrust EZ Antivirus, but I am running AVG. samr.
  17. Please post any problems or bugs with Security 360 in this thread. It will make it easier to keep track. Thanks, samr.
  18. Hi vman, Thanks for the warning!;-) Kidding, I'm looking forward to it. samr.
  19. Hi haze, It's not so much that the programs aren't compatible, but each program will optimize in a different way. Some may turn things on while another may turn it off,so they fight back and forth. You can either rely on one to optimize or you can sort out what you don't want to change and add them to ignore list. samr.
  20. Good idea solbjerg, but maybe best as a sticky & closed. samr.

  23. Hi Robert & solbjerg, I can verify that it does not (and never has) worked correctly in Windows 2000, but does work in XP. However, I do agree with solbjergs post on how to update drivers. samr.
