wow, glad i came back to check on iobit. looks great.
and put more simply sunny,
cloud is when they have the database over the internet so when you scan or use the proactive protection, it just uses iobits online database. meaning no more having to update. you will always have the latest updates as long as your internet is working.
hope it helped. im not too sure on my answer either, but it seems to help me understand. lol

Hi
Believe have found the ASC V3.1.1 changes restore file that stops the keyboard and mouse pad functioning during the next boot up.
How can I examine the file to see what system changes were performed so as to add the ones that need to be set to ignore.
right click only allows delete
its most likely system optimization so after you restore it just dont touch it :)

Chuck,
Click Press Start Button (XP) or Windows Icon (Vista). Then Click, Control Panel. Then Click, Add or Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista). Find Advanced SystemCare 3 in the scroll down list of programs. Double Click the program and when it asks you, if you want to Remove Advanced SystemCare 3 from your computer, Click Yes. Then Click Finish after it finishes uninstalling it. That's It! Good Luck. ;-)
may want to stop the program first in your system tray(bottom right hand corner) before you uninstall. known to have caused problems before.

some are regenerated by your programs as they may need them to keep running. its perfectly normal for many computers.

Just upgraded to ASC 3.0.1 PRO - Tried to use Firefox TCP Optimizer
Get an error box - "Did not find profile directory of Firefox"
Firefox is located in C: Program Files.
Why can't ASC PRO find it ??
holod on. you arent the first one. let the devs do their job. as for now its not important as that function is still in beta and on a fast computer the difference is neglible

Hello Dear PC Experts:
My PC is running VERY slow lately. I've scanned forviruses, spyware, deleted unnessesary programs, did a defrag and a registry check.
Still, the PC runs so slow, it's driving me crazy.
Thank you for your suggestions!
Joyce

i use crawler toolbar which is omg crazy. it pops up all the time saying "this site is downloading data from XXX.com which is a dangerous site" whenver there are ads. thats why i use the addon adblocker with it so everytime that happens it doesnt happen again :)

Just installed Firefox and I must admit it loads and performs much faster than IE7. Mind you, my IE7/IE7Pro is probably bogged down with all the add ons it's got.
I did the pipeline mods in Firefox that vman suggested and installed the script blocker add-on, however, the WOT add-on won't install as it's bringing up a -228 Error.
What add ons (Tool-bars etc ) does everyone recommend for Firefox, preferably ones that won't slow things down too much?
try mcafee site advisor.
