  1. Hi, I have been receiving an error message once Windows has started. The error message is as follows: "This application has failed to start because rtl120.bpl was not found. Re-installing the program may fix this problem." The application it was referring to was Advanced System Care Ultimate. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I still received the error message but for IObit's Software Updater. It seems reinstalling ASCU 14 resolved the issue with the missing file which I discovered was an issues when searching for solutions. The other application I now receive the error message include autoupdate.exe and ISUTip.exe is for Software Updater. I have not found any information regarding a solution for this applications and was wondering if anyone might have run across this issue. When I was searching for solutions I found two different thoughts on the file rtl120.bpl. One individual said it was "not" a Windows file and was related to several different security and tune-up programs such as ASCU, AVG, McAfee, Norton, Kaspersky, CCleaner, Tune-up Utilities and even Auslogic products, etc. Another individual said it "was" a Windows System file and if reinstalling the application did not resolve the issue then the rtl120.bpl file needed to be downloaded and copied into the Windows system file folder "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\." I am not sure about doing this as most individuals who have had the same problem were dealing with the aforementioned applications on their systems. I read several responses where it resolved the issue with the programs, just as it did for my ASCU 14. However, I have not been able to uninstall Software Updater to attempt reinstalling to see if that resolves the issue. It appears there is more than just this one missing file causing problems with Software Updater. I would greatly appreciate any assistance someone could provide or has had this problem and knows how to resolve the issue. Thanks so much for your time and assistance. Kindest regards, "The Holleywood Kid"
