  1. It is an internal search tool run by Cortana. Cortana keeps searchapp.exe running all the time.
  2. Why do you specifically want one for 2 pc's........just get the 3 pc one and use 2 and give one to a friend. See the offers here......https://www.iobit.com/en/store.php
  3. If you require assistance, then the least you can do is obey the Forum rules, which state clearly that ALL POSTS MUST BE IN ENGLISH. If you do not comply with this rule I will delete your posts. As for your issue, it has been dealt with many times in the forum, and the solution(s) are there. Just look them up. (Se precisar de ajuda, o mínimo que você pode fazer é obedecer às regras do Fórum, que afirmam claramente que TODAS AS POSTAGENS DEVEM ESTAR EM INGLÊS. 4. 1) Don't pay for it. Your licence is time based and will still work' 2) It might be a scam. Send a message to the Iobit Team member here in the Forum and quote this Topic....https://forums.iobit.com/profile/8409-cicely/
  5. The Indexing function has no impact on the functioning of Outlook or any program. It is only there to assist windows explorer to access items quicker. The search function in Outlook is a completely separate function. So it seems your issue is a windows issue. You can try installing Iobit Uninstaller free, and see if it lists any Office programs. If so you can delete them, then re-install offfice and see if that sorts your issue.
  6. Yes, I have come across instances where traces of previous installations of office have caused issues with new installs. Have a look at this........https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/uninstall-office-from-a-pc-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8 Let us know how you get on.
  7. You say you "have currently installed Microsoft Office 2019"....then later you say you "actually don't have any of these versions installed".. so that is a bit confusing. Do you now have any version installed. Why do you need to get rid of these traces?? Do you have Iobit Uninstaller installed, and if so did you try using it to uninstall the traces
  8. There are lot's of posts, with lot's of advice, in the Driver Booster section regarding your questions. Such as.....If it's not broke, don't fix it......never update a lot of drivers at once.....check your pc manufacturer site for recommended driver updates.

  10. Turtle Island Something about your post bothered me. You say You thought Search Application was a resource hog, but your ram usage is showing only 38% total, which is nothing. Ideally, your system should be using as much ram as possible, which makes your system faster and drastically reduces disk usage.
  11. If you give me the information I requested, and try my suggestion....I may be able to assist you.
  12. Download it from Majorgeeks. If you get warnings also, then they are false positives, as Majorgeeks downloads are completely clean.
  13. I have advised/warned many times in the forum against updating large numbers of drivers at the same time. They should be updated in small groups (4 or 5) at a time, so that if there are issues, it will be easier to track down the culprit. Have you looked at Driver Update History in Driver Booster, to see which drivers were updated/or failed. Have you tried using Driver Booster restore function to restore the drivers to the previous version Have you checked in Device Manager to see if there are any warnings in the Device list. Have you tried right clicking on a device ....Properties/Driver/Roolback Driver. The errors you have listed have a common cause, which is system file corruption and can be fixed by running SFC and CHKDSK... Have a look at these sites.......https://techcult.com/fix-windows-update-error-0x80070026/ https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/backup-and-storage/system-restore-fail-error-0x8007045b
  14. Have a look at the Product Manual, to ensure your settings are correct. https://www.iobit.com/product-manuals/isr-help/#Step2: Set the settings for audio, mouse, and webcam
  15. Cicely How is the OP supposed to do any of the things you suggested. They cannot log in to their pc because of the keyboard issue.

  17. It's a scam. I would advise that in future it would be best not to even contact human support from such an email, as even this puts you at risk. You can always send a message to Cicely, the Iobit team member here on the Forum, if you have doubts in future.
  18. All posts must be in English...(Todas as postagens devem ser em inglês) How did you "modify the operating system" with ASC. Did you try a system restore to restore your pc back to a time before the issue occurred.
  19. If you want help, then give us the details, and writing in large font will not be allowed, and will not get you assistance ant faster.
  20. Everything is simple when you have the necessary information, such as the fact that you want to remove it because it is using too much ram. MsMpEng.exe is a core process Windows Defender, and therefore windows tries to prevent access to it. Rather than messing with a core process, perhaps it would be better to resolve the cause. Have a look here...https://windowsreport.com/msmpeng-exe-high-cpu-usage/ Also did you try forced mode in Unlocker. As for..."Unlocker is used to delete protected files."...I have never seen it stated in any literature that this is the case.
  21. What you actually mean is that Unlocker does not work for that file....not that unlocker does not work. The reason it does not work for that file is that it is a windows system file, and you do not have access to it. You should not be messing with system files....unless you wish to wreck your pc.
  22. You can still roll back the driver to the previous one. Ignore is only to do with the scan.
