  1. There is no need to disable ASC.....but if you want to you can right click on the icon in the system tray and click exit from the menu. The reason you are disabling the anti-malware/anti-virus is so that you can clean re-install ASC. To disable IMF....Right click the icon of IObit Malware Fighter in the system tray and either click... turn off real-time protection....or click exit from the menu.
  2. I have removed your personal details. It is both forbidden and very unsafe to post such details in public. You give no information such as where you sent the emails. Your best option is to send a Private Message (PM) to Cicely, the Iobit team member on the Forum.......https://forums.iobit.com/profile/8409-cicely/ Reference this Topic in your message.
  3. Hi Laurie Glad all is now well. As for the trojan.....no anti-malware/anti-virus is 100% effective. There are just too many threats out there. Most likely you got the trojan in a download from a re-seller. That is why I always go to Majorgeeks. It is also good practice to have a second anti-malware program, which you would run maybe once a month just to get a second opinion. (Never run them both together....temporarily disable your main program while you run the other) Let us know if you have any other issues.
  4. There are 4 items in the sale bundle....see here.......https://www.iobit.com/en/store.php?ref=p_prd
  5. This has been answered before. The monitor is part of ASC. It will not be a standalone program. You can run the Performance Monitor without running ASC, Go to...C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare Locate the file Monitor exe. Create a shortcut to your desktop. Then you can run the Monitor from there without ASC running.
  6. Hi Laurie. It is fine to use the existing Iobit Uninstaller. I did not realise that you already had it. Choose every item on the list and delete everything. Then follow the steps I gave you previously to ensure that any residual folders are deleted. go to file explorer ....C:\Program Files (x86)\Iobit and delete any ASC Folder. Also go to..... C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\Iobit .....and delete any ASC Folder Before you install ASC again, you should temporarily disable your Antivisus/antimalware programs (including Windows Defender). This ensures that there are no accidental mis-haps with the installation. Reinstall ASC. When it is installed, make sure that Smart Ram is disabled in the settings. Open the Performance monitor and see if it is working correctly, before you re-enable your Antivisus/antimalware programs (including Windows Defender). Then Enable your Antivisus/antimalware programs.
  7. Hi laurie Sorry to hear you are having issues. Firstly...ASC....It is no harm to Uninstall ASC again. Iwould however suggest that rather than using ASC's own Uninstall, that you download and use Iobit Uninstaller to remove ASC. Download it only from Majorgeeks. It does a better job of removing remnants.....here is a link to all the Iobit Product Manuals...so you can see the functions and settings available. https://www.iobit.com/en/product-manuals.php Again after the uninstall, perform the steps I gave previously to ensure any residual folders are removed. Before you install ASC again, you should temporarily disable your Antivisus/antimalware programs (including Windows Defender). This ensures that there are no accidental mis-haps with the installation. When it is installed, make sure that Smart Ram is disabled in the settings. I would not be concerned with IMF finding a Trojan, while the recycle bin was being cleaned. It was probably a legacy item that had been there a while. I am sorry, but there is no way for me to tell if the IMF log is related to $R9SJ890.exe....but as I said it is probably a legacy item. Also, it is unnecessary to shred the files in the recycle bin, unless they are sensitive/personal files that you want to ensure can never be recovered. Under normal emptying of the recyle bin, the files can still be recovered by special software. The shredder just prevents that. IMF does monitor the entire PC, including ASC. I hope your issue will now be resolved.
  8. Start Menu 10 is not an Iobit product. As far as I can see....Start Menu 10 is a part of windows...see here....https://www.google.com/search?q=statr+menu+10&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b Maybe you should download Iobit's Start Menu 8. It may do what you need.......https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/start_menu_8.html
  9. Surely, the first step would be to find out why your email account is disabled by microsoft, and get that sorted. Then you can easily recover your licences.
  10. This issue is usually caused by your Anti-virus/Anti-malware program removing the file, due to a false positive detection. You should check in your Anti-virus/Anti-malware program quarantine and see if the file is there. If so you should be able to restore it. If it is not in the quarantine of your Anti-virus/Anti-malware program then.... You should temporarily disable your Anti-virus/Anti-malware program, then reinstall ASC. If the install now woks, you can re-enable your Anti-virus/Anti-malware program(s).....and whitelist (or put in the Ignore list) the AdvancedSystemCare.msg file. This will stop your Anti-virus/Anti-malware program from removing it in future.
  11. Have a look here in the product Manual, in the settings. You can choose large Icon (s) https://www.iobit.com/product-manuals/sm8-help/#Start Menu
  12. If you use Iobit Uninstaller to remove programs, it will remove all the leftovers
  13. You have already posted the suggestion. If you post the same suggestion again in another thread, it will be considered a duplicate/double post and will be deleted. As to Iobit reading all the threads on board.....????....all I know is that they seldom answer any posts in the forum.
  14. I appreciate your efforts, but there is no point in showing me a list. I am quite sure that Iobit are well aware of the functions of CCleaners and the others. As to whether they take your suggestions on board......that's anybody's guess. As you can see, Iobit have not contributed to the post.
  15. The link was to help you solve your problem. It has nothing to do with where you posted.
  16. I am sorry, but I do not understand the point you are making.
  17. Glad to help. Try the second link again.
  18. See these two posts. They may help you with the issue..... https://forums.iobit.com/topic/16277-recycle-bin-not-empty/?tab=comments#comment-112872 https://forums.iobit.com/topic/16278-send-your-feedback-for-advanced-systemcare-ultimate-14/?tab=comments#comment-113258
  19. You have posted in the wrong section of the Forum. Post in the Advanced Systemcare section. Also provide more detail of your issue. using bold text will not get you better or faster assistance, so don't use it. Once you have posted in the correct section I will delete the post here.
  20. Again, you supply no information or answer any of my questions. Also I have no idea why you are posting back the link I sent you. So it looks like I will be unable to help you as you will not supply the requested information. Have a look at this Topic......it may help you......
  21. Try asking Microsoft or Apple to put all their products into one package....
  22. We are getting nowhere with this. You just seem to not want to give any details of your issue or what you want to do. At least tell us where you got this free-iobit-license-promo.rar from. Also how you think you can use it to fix your issue. When you paid the ransom, did you get any instructions with the key??
