  1. The regular scan is just a smart scan if you have the deep scan turned on it will dig through the whole registry to find problems. Therefore once you hit the 84% it is starting the deep scan of the registry :)

  10. I have noticed with Smart Defrag 3 Pro that it will allow a defrag on a SSD drive. Even if said drive is flagged as a SSD. The regular SD3 will not defrag a SSD but pro will :(
  11. I have downloaded and installed the Beta for ASC 8 ... It all looks well. I have not found any problems so far. I would like to say though that I wish we could customize the toolbox to only show the tools we want to use instead of a bunch of tools that we won't use and 5 that we will. Also the fact that IOBits other products are listed in the toolbox as well as the action center is a bit much. If people only want ASC without the other products it should not be linked in multiple places. In addition it would be great if you could just have the other IOBit products tie into the regular maintenance scan. For example if you have Malware fighter on your PC the malware section of ASC should use that to do that portion of the scan. If you have Smart Defrag/pro that should be used to perform the defrag section. Same with Driver booster... It does not have its own section in the ASC standard scan but maybe it could be integrated into the "vulnerability fix" scan? Should you not own / use the other IOBit programs than it should revert to the standard ASC scans.

  16. It would be great if advanced system care asked if you were using a home network/workgroup ... The system optimization scan always disables all of the services need to run my pc in the homegroup I have set up. I disable the optimizations manually but would still be a nice feature.

  21. Thank you Cicely for all you do :)
  22. I really cannot understand why an article about trim was attached to my post. I did not misspeak. Although some ssd do auto-trim there are a good number of them that require a specific utility to use the trim data and clean the drive. When I was using an intel ssd the command itself was called trim to start the optimization. That was some time ago though.
  23. A nice enhance version of trim for the solid states would be nice. If you only have a solid state it eliminates the need for "defrag" ... It would be nice to have it built into this software :)
  24. Been there done that... It was popping up like that because I have a previous subscription to ASCU 6 that expired.
  25. Actually mine won't even open after installation it immediately pops up for a license... and it will ask you after the 30 days if the active now feature is enabled.
