I think it shouldn't be removed as this way more areas could be scanned. BTW whatever you do you'll need a restart of pc any way after disk checking. -

Once in a week is enough. -
Any reasons why names aren't displayed properly. BTW it doesn't recognize some devices properly and scanning most of the times stops in between

no matter how much memory or processing power is in a pc, lots of running apps can create crashes of pc. -

You should try reducing the number of applications cause your desktop is full. This will definitely cause hanging of pc. Try reducing the number of apps. Hope this helps. -

True enough but Linux does not allow most type of software to run on it like MATLAB, C++, Dreamweaver, Pagemaker, etc. This is a disadvantage for some and the reason why Linux is not popular on pcs. -

Scan speed depends on your pc's free hard drive storage. -

Its happening on my pc as well in ASC while scanning using care tab. It hangs in junk files clean and drive errors not driver booster. Possibly this is what might have been happening with you. -

This is bound to happen in win 8.1 as it has built in antivirus windows defender and as you said you have ascu. So that's why it is like that. -

to be really honest some of the updates should never be deleted else it'll ruin everything. Linux is a good os but it lacks many things windows has. -
Hi, MMM is a great tool. But honestly speaking, it makes some errors in the contact names while displaying (partially it is removed)

Good to see that system info bug has been corrected. BTW can I keep ASC with ASCU b1 :?: -
@scannan AND @solbjerg, I also agree, it would make the system more vulnerable day by day and too slow

Driver booster is showing a version of graphics driver which is unsupported for my graphics card chipset. I had tried that version earlier which made my system full of errors. I had to format it and reinstall again. I suggest that you should show driver updates only if they support the hardware of pc. I won't ever install that update again now.:cry::cry::cry::cry:

Maybe it is better to run antivirus scan after you finish all your work on the pc and set it to turn off after the scan. -

for old pcs like my pc before upgrading, it was better to scan for viruses using low priority setting so that I could multitask easier while scanning. but I don't scan when working on the pc but after all work is over and set it to shut down after scan is over. -
