  1. Probably you will release it to coincide with windows 10 release! So hopefully won't be too long of wait!
  2. Aww when I saw "Send your feedback for Advanced SystemCare 9" on the forum hompage (forums.iobit.com) I got so excited and thought a beta had been released... Now I realise I have to wait a bit longer! Hope it won't be much too longer now!
  3. I take back my slightly negative post about ASC. I uninstalled ASC and noticed Google Chrome browsing with loads of tabs open was a whole lot slower! I reinstalled ASC8 and turned on turbo boost and browsing google chrome is way faster (it doesn't slow down as much when opening loads of tabs) So ASC does work! I think its turbo boost mode is what improves the performance. So I'm keeping it. Just weird other programs like system mecanic detect different problems. Maybe different programs optimize settings at different values. Probably will stick with ASC since using it I see performance improvement, unlike the other programs.

  8. http://pc-system-utilities-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ site compares programs similar to ASC. I recommend IObit staff look at this to see what features are missing from their program etc. and add them to it. ASC is ranked #5 in this test.

  13. What makes ASC better than other pc optimizers like system mechanic or tune up utilities (now known as AVG PC tuneup)?? I run ASC and then run System mechanic free version after it and it detects more problems so probably ASC doesn't detect everything. I wonder is ASC as good as other programs...

  18. I get blue screen/system crash when trying to update qualcomm atheros ar9285 wireless network adapter. My computer is Sony Vaio VPCCA running Windows 8. I disabled my internet security (AVG 2015) while updating so that is not the cause. The first time I attempted installing this update I got a blue screen system crash and my computer rebooted twice and failed but I was able to do a system restore from windows troubleshooting options on startup. I attempted to install the update again, and I got a blue screen again, computer rebooted normally this time - no system restore needed. Odd.. I forget what blue screen error message said....Windows ran into a problem, collecting information...something like "system thread execution" or exception error? I've added it to my exception list for now. Hope this helps you fix this.
  19. I have a few questions: I use ASC and SmartDefrag. I have both turned off from loading at startup and autodefrag off too. Problem is when I run ASC after it, my computer is fast. But then after 2 days my computer gets slow again and I end up launching ASC again to run care again. And I repeat this every 2 days. Would really be great if I could automate it and not have to worry about it. If it could keep my PC working well automatically. Getting a bit tired of manually running care....so I am thinking about changing to more automatic settings. But have a few queries about auto settings: Is it better to leave the programs to load at startup and leave auto defrag on? (It won't add too much startup time?) Plus reason why I turn autodefrag off is I'm not sure about having it on all the time....like does it use a lot of power running a defrag and drain the battery? Or does running a defrag use any more power than a computer on idle does? Really want automatic settings so IObit software will keep my PC fast 24/7 and not slow down. Is disk fragmention the main cause of computer slowdown? I checked my PC with internet security and no malware was detected, so fragmention is then the next likely cause of why my computer gets slow? Just find it puzzling why after I run ASC8 my computer is fast, then 2 days later its slow again (slow startup, sluggish launching programs etc.) and I have to run ASC again! And repeat every 2 days.... EDIT: I have changed the settings now. I have turned on autocare in ASC8 beta 2 (Perform autocare when computer is idle) and I have turned on autodefrag in SmartDefrag and have both programs set to launch automatically at startup. So I will test it now and hopefully IObit software will keep my computer fast automatically now and not slow down. No harm to try out these new settings for a few days and see do they keep my computer fast! (Unlike my old manual settings where I had to manually run all programs every few days to keep my PC fast). Just one question: The autocare in both programs isn't excessive?? It won't drain my battery having automatic care settings on both programs on all the time? Like its not defragging all the time the computer is idle?? Or running ASC every time the computer gets an idle moment??! Does it limit how much they are run? Final question about SmartDefrag: Should I use Defrag and prioritize or Defrag and full optimize. I usually use Defrag and full optimize, it seems to give a more well sorted "tidier" defrag than the prioritize one. Does defrag and prioritize include what defrag and full optimize does? Or do I need to use defrag and full optimize sometimes and prioritize other times. The manual could have more information on the differences of these functions!

  24. My advice for IObit future products: 1. Cut down the number of products. Having 4 or 5 IObit products installed on 4 or 5 different PCs, it can be time consuming trying to maintain and run all the programs on all the PCs. (Compared to CCleaner where you can just right click the recyle bin and select "run cleaner") I thought the unique selling point of Advanced System Care is that it would be a one-click solution to solving PC problems (hence the big care button). For future products, I think driver booster and smart defrag should be stripped down (interface wise) and included as toolbox modules in ASC8. Anyone who installs ASC8 would probably also want Smart Defrag and DriverBooster as well so I can't see the reason of having 3 seperate products when they could be all wrapped into 1. 2. In the main ASC8 care screen, some of the modules (e.g. shortcut fixer, registry defrag, internet problems, security holes, disk scan, security defense) should be removed. I like to do a daily scan and I know you can uncheck these items if you don't want them scanned.... but I think those items would be more suited as toolbox modules in the toolbox center (along with smart defrag and driver booster modules) I would like a daily scan center and I feel some of those modules do not need to be check daily, not as much as the other ones (malware remove, junk file remover, registry fix, defrag)-So basically have a daily scan center with all thesessential everyday care modules, and all the less needed/occasional use modules in the toolbox center. 3. Basically 1 product for performace (IObit system care) and 1 product for protection (IObit Malware Fighter).
