Send Your Feedback for IObit Malware Fighter 3
mjsimons9757 replied to Cicely's topic in IObit Malware Fighter v3
Very pleased with IMF 3 beta1. I do have one concern however. IMF 3 routinely pops on my screen at the most inopportune times. So often that it is becoming slightly annoying. This never happened with earlier versions of this app. Is this a feature of this new version or have I inadvertently changed a setting? More importantly can I disable this feature? Otherwise IMF3 Beta has functioned flawlessly. I am very grateful for the USB drive scan. Just for fun I took a stack of flash drives I had sitting around and simply plugged them in. One of my favorites a drive I use often, came up infected with malware. I've been informing friends of this handy feature. -

i just download the latest beta version of IObit Malware Fighter 3. The download went flawlessly. I was first hit with the new look, but what I really liked was that the three different types of scans have all been combined into same dialog without having to go to a second screen. NICE. The USB protection was a blessing, I can now scan usb flash drives from MF3. This is really useful because we know that flash drives have been increasingly used as carriers for malware. It is nice to know that all I have to do is plug in and I will be scanned. 20 suspicious cookies were detected within the first few minutes of my initial (full) scan. A history log of some type accessible from the main page\ GUI would be convenient. After a 1:46:13 scan time, my initial scan came back with no threats detected. IMF3 in combination with ASC8 has worked well for me. -
Feedback for Advanced SystemCare 8 I've been a user of IObit products for a looong time. I noticed that ASC v7.4 indicated that I may want to run a scan, so I did. ASC cleaned up the standard issues, (registry, privacy, junk files and a ongoing disk scan issue. After the scan and fix was done I received notice of ASC v8 beta. GREAT I WANT IT. Download went well, no issues, ASC ask if I want to delete v7.4 that went without issue. Install was quick and painless no issues. I selected the readable look, (btw, I like that the new version gives you the option to choose the looks, nice touch). After everything was set up I ran another scan. I had just ran v7.4- did download of v8 and did scan. To my surprise. v8 not only found a few issues v7.4 had missed in junk files and the registries, v8 found 24 issues in Internet Problems. After scan v8 repaired all issues and all is well. I like the way the newer IObit products ( ASC 8, Drive Booster), now have a similar look to them. The look is simple easy to read and uncluttered. I gives you just the information you need to stay on top of the scan. I have been a fan of ASC (and all the IObit products for some time and never hesitate to install any product IObit makes available. I also like the NEW weather forecast feature. Sure I use Weather Underground, but it sure is nice having this available in the corner of my screen. Nice feature.
