  1. I plan to put Driver Booster on an external hard disk (connected via USB cable).

After boot of the current WinOS system I want start this Driver Booster installation from external hard disk and scan for new drivers.
This works as far as I can see.

However I wonder whether I can use exactly this Driver Booster installation for other computer as well.

For example if I plug in this external USB hard disk into my notebook.
Will Driver Booster (and its previous driver downloads, indexes, scan information data) be confused about the completely different hardware?

Or can I use ONE Driver Booster installation for multiple computers?

  2. After a scan of a computer a lot of outdated drivers were found.

In case that I update them all in one step and problems (crashes) occur I have to do
tedious investigations which of the new drivers is the culprit.

To be on the safe side I would like NOT to update them all in one but step-by-step and work with them a while before updating the next.

Is there a recommended sequence of the drivers which should be updated first?

    Furthermore:

If a certain driver (lets say the one for the chip set) relies on the presence of certain other drivers (versions):
Are these underlying basic drivers AUTOMATICALLY updates as well or just the driver with the ticked checkbox?

  3. Assume I perform a scan on a new computer.

Lots of outdated drivers were found and the GUI lists the current and the found new, available driver versions.

    That's fine for the moment.

But I would like to create a (textfile based) report which contains exactly these information.
If possible with additional listing the referenced *.inf file resp driver .sys file

    How can I achieve this
