I have several clients whose IOBit subscriptions have expired and I won't renew them until there is something done about iTOP specifically and popup ads on the paid versions generally. You say it takes time but why should it take nearly a year for your departments to decide whether to keep partnering with iTOP who is using scare tactics and giving your product a really bad name and also giving me a bad name because I have put your products on hundreds of PCs over the years.

Without the end user tacitly asking to install third party software, IOBit should be liable for whatever damage is caused. What is iTop has unscrupulous employees who want to gather personal data with one or more of their installed products. They can do this with an update that you have no control over once the product has been installed. You could be inadvertently giving iTop access to millions of PCs that one of their updates could convert to a giant Bot net. It doesn't have to be iTop, they could be hacked and the hackers put out an update drafting all iTop installations into a Bot net. Can you please ask your Sales department how we can apply for refunds for IOBit products that have these invasive, unstoppable ads after being licensed and let us know?

Paid subscribers shouldn't have to untick anything to opt out of installing any additional software from IOBit or it's partners. There should be an empty check box to opt in only so that clicking next will proceed without installing additional software unless the user specifically ticked the box. If you want to bring someone's attention to a new offering then forcing the user to have to tick the opt-in or to tick "No Thanks" before they can click next is the correct way to go and you do that on some of your offers, why not on all. I won't even try iTOP VPN because I think the scare tactic popup saying "You are exposed" is bullying, especially to people who don't know what a VPN is. Clients started ringing me asking me what to do, thinking someone has already hacked into their system to prove that they were exposed and that they would be ransomed or something if they clicked on the popup. I sell a lot of PCs and I used to install IOBit's Advanced systemCare Ultimate Trial on the PCs for years and recommend the clients renew after the trial. I won't put Advanced systemCare or any IOBit products on anymore PCs I sell unless things like iTOP VPN, DriverBooster and IOBit Uninstaller are changed to be less intrusive on paid subscriptions and on Trials. A few years ago, the adware and sometimes automatic install of Other IOBit and Partner software just by clicking Fix Now started making me have to explain to clients why and how they got DriverBooster, IOBit uninstaller, etc on their PC and why they get so many popup ads. I used to be able to calm them down saying the benefits of ASCU outweighed the popop ads but now you have gone too far. I used to argue in IOBits favor on MalwareBytes forum because I was disappointed that their software won't let you permanently whitelist ASCU. The way it is now, they have a right to treat ASCU and other IOBit software as PUP malware. You seem to run several little programs to make sure that the ads aren't blocked (Liveupdate.exe, FreeBigupgrade.exe, SafeTipe.exe, Bigupgrade_UI.exe, Bigupgrade_SUI.exe). This is very aggressive and no matter how much I like ASCU and even iTOP screen recorder, I have been put off.

Hi Kirkules& Cicely , I have been using and recommending the free versions of IObit software to family friends and clients for years as most of the products outshine the competition. I was willing to put up with the ads because it was free and I reasoned that free software should be able to advertise to remain free. I have been fighting for and defending IOBit on the MalwareBytes forum for the last few years because MalwareBytes quarantines each new update of Advanced SystemCare and forces me to have to whitelist it every time with the only other option of having to turn off Malwarebytes PUP detection. Most of my family/friends & clients don't know how to whitelist so I have moved them from MalwareBytes (also a very good program but appears to have a vendetta against IOBit having lost a court case against them) and put them and myself on the paid version of Advanced SystemCare Ultimate (ASCU) and IOBit Malware Fighter (IMF). My thoughts being that between the two ASCU with BitDefender and IMF designed for Malware protection, I'd have close to the same protection that Malware Bytes provided. I did not think that we'd be bombarded by ads, most of which trick my family, friends and clients into installing. I have been looking for ways to stop the ads and wound up in this forum. A year or two ago, I thought only MalwareBytes considered ASC/ASCU as malware but now I have seen other AV software quarantine it and Virus total shows this. IOBit should listen to their users and allow an opt out in the paid versions or at lease on each new ad, allow a working "Don't show me this product any more" check box.

System Reinforce for Windows 10 is not the problem. I have some machines on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 10 and some but not all have this problem (some 64bit, some 32Bit). Also on some of the machines, it breaks file and printer sharing but not on others. I sent an email to 'IObit support'<avfeedback@iobit.com> describing the problem yesterday before I found this forum thread. Marcel39 made me try one more thing which allowed me to see exactly what was happening (at least for RDP). At first I thought that the Scheduled Quick Scan from the ASCU antivirus module was disabling Remote Desktop (RDP) but it is the actual opening of the ASCU UI that causes the problem. Yesterday, I enabled the RDP, opened ASCU, used RegShop to do a snapshot of the registry, ran the quick scan, then did another Regshot snapshot and compared the two. Though RDP was now disabled again, I could not find anything in the 12 or so registry keys that were modified that had anything to do with RDP.
