  1. My usual procedure is to run the Cloned File Scanner in Filename mode first, delete the duplicates, and then run it in Byte-to-Byte mode. When I run the Scanner in Filename mode, it works well - although I have noticed on many occasions that it isn't perfect: Duplicate files that are deeper than about 3 subfolders in aren't picked up. However, when I switch to Byte-to-Byte mode, the program scans until it gets to 80%, and then just stops there for a long time. After a couple of hours, it gets to 81%, and then if I don't use the computer for a couple of days and then come back to it, sometimes it's finished, and other times it's still hanging somewhere in the 80+% range. Why does it do that, and is there anything that can be done about it?
