Not going to bother, Cicely. That's the same thing you told me to do with the previous version. I did what you said, and that was the end of it: No solutions offered, not even an intelligent reply. Won't waste my time. This "hanging" is obviously a problem for a number of people, and iobit doesn't seem motivated to do anything about it.

I have a similar problem, but it starts hanging at about 97%, and starts scanning the same devices over and over for several minutes. Then it finally gets to 100%, and continues to scan the same devices. This used to happen with Driver Booster 6. Had hoped it would be eliminated in 7, but same old behavior.

Yes, the scan was successful... eventually... but it stays at 99% for a long time, maybe ten minutes, and then starts over. The second time it seems to finish the scan with no difficulty.
