I decided to let ASC do a full sweep for reg errors, privacy issues, junk files, shortcut and security errors. It got through the first two reasonably quick but the junk files portion has been running for an hour and is still only at 8%. Is this normal ? Why is it taking so long ? Also, it says i have 18 gb of junk files, but I don't get to see what it considers junk, is this going to delete videos and stuff that I want but it considers junk ? Thanks
Upon using products from Malwarebytes, I found that anti-virus products and AdwCleaner constantly flags any IObit products such as Advanced System Care and Driver Booster as PUP, Adware or Unwanted programs... now I know that I can just put the folder, files and registry into Exclusions list, but whats going on between these two companies? I see IObit products as a great way to clean and speed up my computer just as Malwarebytes anti-virus products to defend my computer from viruses.
Hi, there are some really great (well at least the way they say it and how the program perform) software by IObit and i have been using few of them on my other laptop. but now i have a new PC and i want it to stay fast and stuff. So i was wondering is it good to have their software running and taking care of my PC?
Folks, today I found my Windows 10 Tower (I run 1 Win 10 Tower; 1 Wind 10 Laptop; 1 Win XP Laptop) no longer licensed for ASC9 Pro, but reverted to Free! This was after Win10 did an Update... The same Win10 Update also changed my Password to my Win10 Laptop, from my choice, to my Microsoft Account Password. Microsoft oft is far too 'helpful' = akin to a family dog that brings your clean towel under your vehicle, whilst you are removing an overfull used engine oil pail... Grin. The Win 10 Laptop's ASC9 Pro was OK; the Win XP Laptop was OK... After spinning my wheels, I bought a new License, and _then_ thought to ask for a double-check of Licenses. I have enough time purchased to outlast these 3 machines!!! Note: IObit's policy, of keeping XP machines in the loop, is much appreciated, because some of my fellow users still keep Win XP machines. The handy ability to have a common Utility running on all is great.lookah snail
