  1. Ahhh... okay. Didn't really know what the file was for. Thanks!
  2. Hello Everyone - Three times now in the past couple weeks, my anti-virus has advised, "we've moved BigUpgrade_IU.exe to your Virus Chest because it was infected with Win32:MiscX-gen [PUP]."* It happens when IObit notifies of an available [new version], and is why I've put off the update/upgrade. I ignored it when it popped up the first time as I figured someone would catch it and fix or explain it. I had intended to post to this forum asking about it when it popped up the second time about a week ago, but I had been waiting on the email to complete the forum registration process, and then forgot about until today when it popped up again. Why would Avast be flagging this .exe as a PUP? Does anyone know if it has actually been infected or something... or is Avast seeing it as a problem because the program must be so invasive in order to accomplish uninstalls? Thanks for any help. ________________________________ * I googled "Win32:MiscX-gen" but Google seems to think that I mean "Win32:Misc-gen." I could find nothing for "Win32:MiscX-gen"
