Thank you Scannan, yes, I've seen that and downloaded the tool (which has the same functionality as SARA) and, again, it fails to actually clear the previous traces of Microsoft Office installations as I described above. I am attaching a screenshot of the indexing problem showing Microsoft Outlook both included and excluded. It shouldn't have anything about Microsoft Outlook in the "excluded" column but, instead it has repeated instances of Microsoft Outlook appearing in the "excluded" column. I think this might be the reason Outlook is not properly able to search. BTW, I have also "rebuilt" the search "items indexed" more than once with no improvement .

Greetings Scannan, I am having trouble with my 2019 Microsoft Office Outlook because it is not able to search my email folders, that is, when I try to do a search for an item I know exists in an email folder it does not find the item. When I go to the Search setup I noticed that Microsoft Outlook is in the "included" items in the search but also Microsoft Outlook appears next to it several times in the "excluded" from search. So it seems like Outlook is not actually in the search indexing because it is excluded. I then noticed when I used the Microsoft "uninstall tool" (SARA) that SARA finds traces of previous Microsoft Office versions (as I mentioned previously) so I used SARA to uninstall ALL versions (including 2019). However, after the supposed cleaning and uninstallation of these versions by SARA, when I reboot and check again SARA continues to find instances of all the previous versions supposedly still on the laptop. So all that to say that SARA is not effectively cleaning whatever still remains of these previous installations and I think this may be why when I then reinstall Office 2019 and try to search again in Outlook emails that search still does not find items which I know to exist in the emails. I hope this gives a little better understanding of the problem. Thank you again.

I have currently installed Microsoft Office 2019 and have used Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SARA) to find and uninstall all versions of Microsoft Office. SARA reports finding traces of Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019 on my laptop and says it is cleaning up these yet does not seem to actually get rid of the traces because, after cleaning, when I run SARA again it reports finding traces of all the versions of Microsoft Office on my computer. I actually don't have any of these versions installed so they do not appear in the Program Uninstall utility. Is there a way IOBit Uninstaller Pro can find and remove all leftover traces of these versions of Microsoft Office from my computer? I suspect much of it may be leftover registry items. Thanks in advance.
