Was having serious "virus infection" -type issues with my Android-5.1.1 (actually an Amazon Kindle Fire HD8) tablet. Would not render app icons correctly; apps malfunctioning, freezing/crashing frequently. Ran AVG and MalwareBytes, which detected no issues. While manually cleaning cache from each app, noticed AMC (Advanced Mobile Care, which is ASC but for Android) had bloated from its usual <100 Mb file size, up to 1.21 Gb! "Aha, a memory leak!" I said. Un-installed, rebooted. Returned to IOBIT.com for replacement version... can't? APK file won't download. Tells me Iobit noticed the corrupted code too, and are working on it... quietly. And won't make the APK available again until the problem is fixed. Note: Amazon Kindles do not have access to the Google Play store, so the only way to get services like Iobit's AMC is to "side-load" the .APK file directly from a website.
