  1. Driver Booster and Advanced SystemCare are both essential utilities on all 4 PCs here. I use both extensively, and like the layout. One small issue I've run into is with Driver Booster and my Asus Zenbook laptop. It has its own modified Realtek sound driver (they don't tell you that), and so I've had to add that to the ignore list. If I let Driver Booster update it, I lose sound, period. Perhaps remind people in the app that they should be cautious with laptop device drivers? And make sure the setting for backing up original drivers is turned on.
  2. Driver Booster 9 continues the progress of this utility, and I really enjoy it's usability. I do have a couple minor issues: first, I also run AOMEI Backupper and Partition Assistant. I had to put both of those in the 'ignore' category because Driver Booster would detect and update both of those applications, but unfortunately the update was the Standard (free) version and it would destroy my credentials for the lifetime version I bought and paid for. It's then a headache to get the lifetime (Pro) version reinstalled and password accepted. It would be great if Driver Booster could discriminate between Pro (paid) versions and Standard (free) versions. A similar but less daunting thing happens with CCleaner, with the context menu and recycle bin settings, which get re-enabled even though I previously had them disabled. All in all, Driver Booster is great software, which is why I run the Pro version.
