On my gaming laptop iobit advanced system care literally destroyed my hard drive, I had to buy and install a new hard drive and reinstall windows. I don't know why I still trusted the company, but I also installed it on my work laptop. The install froze my computer and had to force reset it after waiting 20 minutes to see if it would unfreeze. Upon restarting the laptop now has an audio issue where the speakers will crack and pop before and after any audio event. System sound or beep, crack and pop, before and after. Opening a video with audio? Crack pop at the beginning crack pop at close. I was curious so I reinstalled windows and it fixed the audio issue. upon reinstalling advanced system destroyer, the audio issue immediately re-emerged. This time it didn't completely destroy my 1 tb SSD, but it did create hours of work for me backing up and reinstalling the programs I use everyday that don't destroy my computer.
