  1. It is safe to stop the task, but so long as you have IObit products installed on your computer, it will keep coming back. Stopping the task won't remove it from your computer.
  2. According to https://processchecker.com/file/spepopud.exe.html , spepopud.exe is linked to Iobit software.
  3. Spepopud.exe is a trojan virus, according to https://cleanpcinfections.com/2022/09/remove-spepopud-exe-solution
  4. I got a pop up today of an advertisement of women looking for sugar daddies. I found the task in my task manager called spepopud.exe and with a little searching I found out it comes from Iobit and I see many others in your forum experiencing the same thing. You guys are destroying customer trust with these kinds of ads. Your constant ads for your own products were bad enough but they were tolerable. But racy ads from questionable websites now? This is now officially adware. I was a loyal customer for a long time. Not anymore. Uninstalling everything and I highly recommend anyone else using Iobit software do the same.
  5. They have pop ads now for things that aren't even their own products. I got a pop up today from them for women looking for sugar daddies. Not sure if Iobit is getting desperate for cash or what but paying customers should NOT have to see ANY ads. Seeing ads for their own products was bad enough, but this? I don't think so. Uninstalling all their products now. I recommend doing the same.
  6. I got one for women looking for sugar daddies today. Time to uninstall this crap. Paying customers should not have to deal with this garbage.
  7. Neither lol their own pop ups were annoying enough. The ads popping up for women looking for sugar daddies was too much. If you gotta pay them for the software and then pay them more just to not show ads, that's pretty bad. They shouldn't even be showing ads if you're paying for the product. I'm uninstalling all their software today because of it. If they want to retain their paying customers, either include ad removal in the price of the product or don't make people pay for the product to begin with if it's going to be cluttered with ads no matter what.
  8. I am also getting this. I looked it up and it's showing it's connected to Iobit's Driver Booster for me. Contemplating uninstalling iobit because of it. Their own pop ups for their own software was annoying enough. Now I'm getting pop ups from them for women looking for sugar daddies? Yeah.. time to uninstall.
