Hi, I am here to explain why this issue is happening. I had this issue on my old laptop, its battery is dead and that's the actual reason why it was locking down my PC while trying to update drivers via Driver Booster. I always thought it was Driver Booster's issue and couldn't actually find someone having the same issue, I would like to leave this post here to help if there're other people having the same issue.
