ASC and Adobe Flash Player

ASC 5 (free) appears to be making the latest Adobe Flash Player inoperable on my Win 7 system. A friend has the same problem on his Win 7. Anyone know a solution short of removing ASC?

Hi Michael

I advise you to check your settings - in Privacy please try to remove the checkmark in Adobe flash player in order to not clean that application.

Sorry to hear that you encountered problems with our software.

 

Please follow solbjerg's advice to uncheck Adobe Flash Player in Privacy Sweep settings under both Quick Care and Deep Care.

 

BTW, is your ASC the latest version 5.3.0?

I was wrong - ASC not problem for flash player

 

I wrongly blamed ASC based on friend's experience and diagnosis. Turns out Flash in Firefox is effected by settings in RealPlayer. The fix is described here http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/flash-113-doesnt-load-video-firefox?s=flash+player&r=1&as=s
