64bit hiccup - detail - my solution

Hi All,

recently added this to my wifes laptop, 3 days ago,

 

Toshiba 660 64 bit W7, running latest version of Firefox.

performed

browser optimiser

system optimisation> Top performance (home user)>Wireless

set bandwidth (300).

 

Next time she tried to open browser the Home page would not complete but hung at "waiting for BBC.co.uk-static", i could get to the homepage after hitting either the F5 (refresh) or reclicking on the homepage icon,

at least 4 times to complete loading.

 

Turned off AV function, no change so i suspect the problem is in the optimser.

 

Completely uninstalled Firefox

REinstalled Firefox

 

away we go no problem.

 

note my 32bit PC has the same settings/homepage but i did not encounter this hiccup when i installed about 1 month ago.
