Why does Game Booster make controls less responsive?

Recommended Posts

Whenever I play a game, the controls as in moving my crosshair around and moving is slower/less responsive. The game runs great with it on, but I find it irritatingly difficult to have any precision whatsoever. I'm constantly missing and I feel the crosshair not moving as fast as it should be, on games other than FPS, this issue is not apparent, but when you are playing precision shooters, it is very frustrating to perform badly because the controls aren't as responsive as they should be. I know this isn't my computer fault because I have used GB on several different computers with varied specs, and they all have the same problem when playing games. So what could this be? I assume one or two specific programs are causing this to happen, but then that would bring up another question, how can I decide what programs should and should not be turned off? I would very much appreciate help on this topic.

Could be GB stopped the mouse's driver, some mice come with their own drivers, when playing games, the mice sometimes come with custom features like prediction and acceleration. look at an explanation here:

Oh yea, just to get your attention:

On this page:http://www.iobit.com/gameboosterupdate.html at the bottom it says "Game Booster uses an Open Source Technology", and links to this page:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/iobitfps/ , however it is a dead link, 请尽快,FIX IT ASAP
