Surfing Protection will not turn off with firefox 14.0.1

hi. so far beta 2 of asc 6 seems to be working ok for me. the biggest glitch i currently notice is that browser protection will not turn off in firefox 14.0.1. it works fine with IE9, but just doesn't want to turn off even if browser protection is not checked in the main settings.

 

the only work around i have found is to either disable it in firefox, or uninstall it. if i check enable browser protection, it comes back correctly, but if i uncheck the setting it remains active in firefox.

 

any ideas on how to get it working properly with firefox (14.0.1)? as i mentioned before, it is working fine with IE9.

We are so sorry that we can not re-produce your issue.

 

Did you restart your browser (Firefox) after your turn off or turn on the surfing protection? The changes will take effect after you restart your browser.

yes, i restarted it. still works on IE9, same problem with firefox.

hopefully this will be corrected in the final version. so far so good with beta 2. still have the problem with windows update being shut off, but nowhere near as badly as i had during testing the first beta. when the final version comes out i think overall asc 6 will be an excellent program.

Regarding the issue with firefox 14.0.1, please find the file Main.ini in this path: %appdata%\IObit\Advanced SystemCare V6 and send it to us so that our specialists can look into it.

At first completely uninstall your previous version.

Then install the current version which you mentioned.
