Scan USB HDD for errors [SOLVED] by original poster.

When I scanned my USB HDD Systemcare 6 beta 2 found errors and wanted me to reboot to fix the errors. When I did reboot, my pc booted up to windows without fixing errors. So I rescanned again with errors found but Systemcare wanted me to reboot to fix errors. I don't believe you have to reboot when fixing errors on a USB nonsystem drive.

Hi dav88.

That also is contingent of the location of your OS pertinent to the drives (USB connected or otherwise)? Is your OS located completely on one drive? [it could be perfectly logical] It would be most helpful if you would complete the computer details in your user control panel. Without detailed information it is difficult to help or ascertain certainty with any issue of this nature.:-|

Sincerely,

-Mel

Live long and prosper!
