Lasso!

I have Pro Lasso Pro installed at this very moment, where there are tons of options when you right click on a process in the upper window (like sleep!!) and the process will continue right thru sleep! :-D

I do not know what options are available in the FreeWare version of this progam available at http://www.majorgeeks.com. ..:-? There probably is a way to teach Windows (Premium Home Edition) to do the same thing as Pro Lasso, but I liked the program so much that I bought it.

Have you considered Changeing or Disableing 'Sleep-mode'?

Hi dv8cowboy... glad you have decided to post again instead of just watch!

Please clarify the merits and costs of this "process lasso" software more as you are a knowledgeable user/member here.

I installed Process-Lasso and have been 'checking it out'.

It is easy to use and has some Process Controls that I've not seen in other Process-Managers.

It is also a good Resource monitor (CPU, Memory, etc.)

Security-task-manager does things that PL does not do,

but PL does things that STM does not do.

So far, I really Like it and think Process-Lasso will be very Useful.

But STM is still my Favorite, for controling Processes and Services. ;-)

(STM is a little more difficult to Learn to use properly, though,

since some functions are not obvious at first)

(With PL all functions are easy to find and use)

Pro Lasso

No worries Melvin,

Glad to be of some assistance!

It is, as Toppack posted before me as very easy to use. The biggest benefits for me are in bringing a Process to the front that I do want resources to be spent on.Also it restrains processes that are out of hand either by a program algorithum or by right clicking a process in the upper window where many options are available including restart, close, set priority, stop, and many others. Program updates are very frequent with automatic installation the nom de gurre.

Melvin, I think I paid $25.00Aus for one lifetime license and two one year licenses (that I haven't yet used..)

Feel free to Post here if anyone wants to know more about this great program that I wouldn't be without!
