My internet connection is with Comcast Cable. Do I setup as LAN? I was using DSL and don't want to mess with my new provider settings. Please advise and thanks in advance.

What is your rated download speed by Comcast?

 

How are you connected to your DSL? By data cable or by wireless?

 

Which XP is your OS? Please indicate it in your User Profile from your Control Panel (CP).

I also have Comcast-cable and I tried several settings,

but 'Basic' seemed to work the Best.

(There was not much, if any, difference in the several I tried)

 

BTW - 'Basic' will also work with a DSL connection.

I know it will because we also have a DSL phone-line connection, that we use as a backup connection.
