Disable Updates version 5.4

I have tried ASC Pro v6 and would rather not have it install with program updates in version 5.4.

 

How do we tell ASC from within the program or a Registry Edit to stop looking for updates?

Hi niceget,

 

I don't have ASC 5.4 anymore, but you can try disabling Autoupdate by renaming AutoUpdate.exe/Upgrade.exe or an exacutable similar to that in the main ASC folder.

 

Also, you can check Task Scheduler if there is any entry for ASC 5 updating/upgrading.

 

Please note that if you succeed, database will not be updated anymore.
