Malware Scan Ignores Tracking Cookies in 2012/13/Ultimate

EDIT: (see post #2 below) Over the months I have tried ASC with AV 2013 and now Ultimate for at least a month+ and never ever have they found any tracking cookies.

I've sent various emails to 'Feedback' and shared my 'Malware Removal' settings and pasted screenshots, etc, and then repeated these Feedback steps when I installed Ultimate.

My ASC 5 Pro found tracking cookies almost daily yet as mentioned above - I've yet to find one with the Antivirus versions.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I hope Ultimate beta 2 addresses the issue.... I can't downgrade my license to a previous version that did detect Tracking Cookies...

EDIT to ABOVE:

I just installed ASC with Antivirus 2013 (it was likely 2012 I had previously) and I was wrong above about it not finding tracking cookies.

While my ASC Ultimate does not find any tracking cookies using the Malware Removal scan - I did just scan using the ASC AV 2013 and it did find 43 tracking cookies.

Interestingly - my Installed Ad-Aware Antivirus has not been finding Tracking cookies either...

is anyone else using the Malware scan feature with ASC Ultimate - not finding any tracking cookies?

ASC Pro with AV 2013 'does' find tracking cookies on my PC (win7 64bit Home Premium).

Someone from Iobit replied by email to feedback I sent and told me to use Iobit Malware Fighter "which can detect and remove tracking cookies in real-time."

Yet - even when using Malware Fighter - ASC Pro AV 2013 found tracking cookies... (?)

So, ASC Ultimate is not finding tracking cookies - ASC 2013 does - and maybe I don't understand the "Real-Time Protection" of Malware Fighter's "Cookie Guard"... I figured it would always be looking for tracking cookies and either quarantine or delete them.

What does Cookie Gaurd's brief description "Prevent the Leakage of privacy cookies" mean? Its the most description I've seen - which is when you hover over the "Cookie Guard"

Unless I misunderstand - it does not mean "real-time protection from tracking cookies" as the Iobit person told me. Email response below:

"Thanks for contacting IObit. This is **** from IObit Support Team.

The code you provided is for Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2013 which is an antivirus program.

With regards to your concern, we'd like to introduce you our anti-malware program IObit Malware Fighter which can detect and remove tracking cookies in real-time.

Please kindly download it from the link http://www.iobit.com/malware-fighter.html

Thanks for supporting IObit."

Hi Immaculens

How many antivirus programs do you run and in what configuration and sequence?

How many malware programs do you run and in what sequence

Please describe your actions in detail and one after the other.

I have trouble following you.

Cheers
