and don't worry about it, I envy you btw, I love building and what not, I will say, My boss, the one who taught me about carpentry, well, lets say, he was an idiot, he told me to tear down a trailer, I did just as he said, and, when I hit the wall, the whole freaking roof, almost 400 pounds landed where I stood just a half second before:!:, I was like, yea, sir? I think I'm quiting today:lol:

Thank you, I'll edit THIS post when I get up, I'm having problems updating cc, it pulls up mozilla, and I can't remember how to change my default browser, and well, you remember mozilla firefox is compromised or something, it won't run on my computer

Open IE then download CCleaner and reinstall it through your working browser... if that is what you refer to by cc.

 

Oops... I assumed you had removed firefox through the method previously suggested.:shock:

ok, so this message was scattered so I am deciding to edit this one according to my actions, I am starting CC cleaner as I type, I will edit again when I have finished and when I start tfc I believe you called it.

 

EDIT 1: ok, CC cleaner finished, running tfc, it will shut down my browser, so I'll check back on my cell phone. when tfc is completed, I'll post results and wait for your next directions my good friend. wish me luck:mrgreen:

 

EDIT 2: I am on again, I am still catching heat from something in my system, Its hard to explain, something in my system is messing up everything, on facebook, I can not click on notifications, friend requests, excetera, and on yahoo, I couldn't even open my freaking email, I am so mad right now.

 

but other than that, what is next? :-)

It doesn't matter your personal frustrations... it is the infections... if you wish to fix as much as possible you will stay focused and stop even going to facebook... etc.!

 

I have finished the previous post... all you have to do is complete step 3 from my that post on this thread!

 

I've spent alot of time reviewing your posts/threads CJ... thought alot about them... and I don't think is is useful to open a thread in the Spyware/Malware removal section after all.;-) The information you need is already compiled within the threads of this forum... you just have to search for it.:-D

I am running part 3, hey, btw, I reviewed my thread with Superdave, I seen a few programs combofix for 1 I THINK he said not to run that unless I was told too, if I do not get all the infections off, should I run that as a last resort? I think I might remember it, or is that best to follow is directions and not use that with out his orders?

 

wow, I was at 99 percent with step 3, then the computer died :x:sad:

wel thats it, the viruese are gone now, I am surprised, there were more parts of my virus that I infected my pc with left over than I thought, but its clean now

I am glad that your machine is the better for it CJ, perhaps it can be a calculator for a bit longer. Please keep it guarded and don't cut off your new protections to gain speed.

Remember that it is obsolete and compromised... never disable your protections in the future and learn to live with the Comodo firewall. Run simple file cleaners often (such as Ccleaner).

 

As an after thought I wish to ask a favor... just open a thread on the open forum to ask a question. When you PM, you are opening a limited stream of input and making alot of unnecessary work for myself and the other forum members/leaders! These forums have many platforms you can post on!. The point being that if you wish to be a valuable member here, you will post on the open forums and not send PM's. It creates problems with other forum members and leaders not understanding the posts as they have not been privy to the information exchanged!

 

So... having said that, My statement is that I will not respond to your PM's.

ok no problem, I didn't have avg or anything disabled for speed when I got infected this time around, but I also apparently did not have a simple firewall, but yea, I sent that last one before I seen this one, But I'll keep things ok, I also think I may need to post about advanced system care 6, I have the beta still, or atleast, I never upgraded, theres something, wonky going on, so I'm going to see whats up, I can't even find it on my system.

actually, when I got infected this time, I didn't disable ANYTHING, it was just, weird, And firewall trouble, it was odd.

 

ps, who are YOU kidding? I checked the calculator, and last time I checked 2+2 does NOT equal 0 LMAO
