ASC not compatible with Paragon System Backup 2010

I have used ASC about a year ago. I really liked ASC. It was great.Then I went

to created a backup and coud not get it started so i uninstalled it and then it

worked again.About 5 months ago i tried it again and the same problem.

If anyone knows a workaround please let me know because i really like ASC.

Hi tennman

I see a couple of possibilities.

Check the settings in your Junk file cleaning and when you run it check the found "problems, If there are any you need among those right click it and choose ignore. (check the settings too)

In the Privacy sweep check if your settings corresponds to what you want to achieve and likewise check found "problems" with the same object - that is to ignore the specific "Problem" you think you want to keep.

Also check the "problems" under Optimization and click ignore to the "problems" you think you want to keep.

No automatic functions ought to be chosen before you have configured the program and settings to the performance you want to achieve.

p.s. is the paragon backup activated in your services.msc (written in Run)

According to your post... your last experience with this was 5 months ago. According to your UserCP profile: tennman

no iobit programs installed yet.

As you indicate that you have not installed any Iobit programs yet... is this a query to see if the issue has been resolved before you try again? About 5 months ago when you last tried by your post, ASC6 was not available (except as a beta I think). (yet you have chosen to post on the ASC6 section?)

 

This leaves me to wonder if either you have been intermittently creating the Paragon images or intermittently using ASC?

 

By the way... this is a previously unreported problem.

What could you not get started....ASC or Paragon....

I use Paragon and I have ASC6, and I have never had an issue. I also never had an issue with ASC 5.
