GameBooster Ideal for Adobe Lightroom or PS?

 

Forgive me if this is off topic but I saw reference recently that it was either Gamebooster or Turbo Boost that can help maximize Adobe Lightroom 4 responsiveness/performance.

 

I would appreciate anyone with experience to please chime in and tell me your impressions or suggestions,

Since Lightroom 4 is a Photo-Editor,

I do not think Gamebooster or Turbo Boost would have much effect on it's performance as an editor.

You would Not want or need to load Gamebooster.

Turbo-boost may have Some effect, if you have very slow computer, though.

 

Note - We use PhotoShop editor and system-boost uilities are Not needed for it,

but we have not used Lightroom 4.

Hello there. Thank you for this wonderful program. I've been using it since version 2 when it was only by IObit.

I am posting here requesting one thing: what are the changes in 3.5.6? A changelog would be appreciated. :)

 

Also, will you ever add maximize button? I requested this through the built-in feedback option last version but it still isn't in.

Issues:

1. defragsvc comes back when on scheduled run and consumes massive resources, same with wsearch
   
2. hybrid gpu systems only show igpu even when discreet is being used
   
3. intel chipsets don't show temps when you install and uninstall boost monitor
   
4. services like via karaoke don't get detected
   
5. doesn't remove scheduled update on uninstall
   

Suggestions:

1. Improve CPU and RAM used by GB, it's a little steep currently for what this does..
   
2. Need login and net connection just to use now
   
3. Bright green over black UI with aliased bitmaps, looks like first week of learning PS for someone
   

 

TO USERS: Thread count and free memory under Performance in task manager is an easy and accurate benchmark. W7&W8 should be ~450-~550 threads before starting a heavy game, I usually have ~416 threads and 3/4 GB free.

You do know this is mainly run/managed by Razer now, right? Email them with any beta feedback you have.

The bugs are actually leftovers from <=3.5.
