Hope is green! :-)

When you mention Hanukkah I suppose you mean the Jewish festival of light which can fall at any time between late November and late December due to how the Jews have set up their calender.

We will light the nine-armed Menukah too :-) in order to rejoice in the returning of the light.

Does it mean that you are of Jewish descent? I think I have some Jewish genes too from my mothers side of the family from long ago.

"Be unto others as you want them to be unto you"

if the Golden rule is too difficult to practise try the Silver rule

"Don't be unto other as you don't want them to be unto you".

These rules have been known for several thousands of years in many places, but still need to be fully implemented and they should be extended to also encompass our world and nature.
