Undelete Tool Produced Some Very Strange Files

So I was running the undelete tool and I noticed I was getting some very strange files. There was a whole class of files with extensions like .lua and .fx, as well as .zip. The names ranged from stuff like "goingtodie12.lua," "youarewelcome.vcd," "ninja_tool.fx" just completely random stuff.

 

These files were all only a few KB big and the weird thing is, they were listed as being in directories like "C:/Unknown164223" just weird unknown folders.

 

Has anyone else seen this?

Hi squishywtrmln,

 

Please kindly note that the Undelete tool will only restore what you have deleted from the drive you selected. And please feel assure that it will not create files itself.
