Internet Explorer not working!

After loading and running AWC my IE browser only seems to display web pages as text. Using IE6 on 2000 pro. Tried restore, didn't help. Tried 'last known', didn't help. Tried to change all IE to default, didn't help. I haven't gotten into many other programs yet, hopefully ie is the only issue! Any suggestion? Also, it appears that windows functions are weird. Help??

1- Move to FireFox instade of IE

2- I had the same problems with IE 8 Beta

3- No problems at all with IE 7 XP/Vista

That's all fine and dandy, but my computer workrd just fine before running awc and the restore did not undo changes made to take me back to a working point. Very disappointed! Need to get back to what I had this morning! I've found other issues as well. When I click on 'my documents' the window appearance is all messed up, as well as attempting to open any folder from 'my computer'. Not good!

Hi greatescapes-did you complete a successful system restore, or were you told "your system can not.........." and before you reply, check to see if any other restore dates appear in bold-let me know, and I might have an idea or two-great day and God bless

have you tried to reset internet explorer, look under tools- options - adv tab- reset
