Once you scan for System Optimization and you uncheck something you don't want to be optimized and you click repair, even if you clicked uncheck, it is still getting repaired.

Please fix this!

Hi androidappme, welcome to IObit Forum! :-D

You have to right click and Ignore it (Put it in the Ignore List) if you don't want ASC to repair it.

Although you say that you use Linux, we need some info about the version of ASC, and which OS you have tried it.

Looking to your Alias, I hope you are not talking about Advanced Mobile Care even though there is no System Optimization section in it.

Please also correct your location in your Public Profile. Where you are heiling, shouldn't be that cold. :-P

Cheers.

Hi androidlappme

Your statement is very general - please explain precisely what happened step by step - do you mean that no matter which function you untick the program ignores it in every instance?

Have you tried a Clean Install? Guide to concept in my signature

Cheers

I was talking about this. It would be easier to untick it and click repair instead.

You can delete my account. I was just testing Iobit again. Thanks

In case you read this you are wrong about this subject you started.

Removing the check from the box applies only to the results of that scan. It would make things far more complicated if an item as removed from future scans just by unchecking the box. The reason is simple.

If you are not sure what you want to do with an item; i.e. have it repaired or ignored you uncheck the box and click repair. The item will not be repaired but will show up in futurre scans as an item to be reviewed. This way you can review an item between scans and decide if you want ASC to repair it or ignore it in future scans.

If it was done the way you suggest then it would not be possible to review an item after you click repair. That means that the user would have to make a permanent decision on each line item at the time of each scan as to what ASC should do with an item that shows up in the Scan. This would be really bad and I mean really bad. The reasons should be clear.

Have a nice day.

I don't think the OP knows the difference between a design modification and a bug.

Hi androidappme and all,

Thank you very much for reporting this issue.

We have reproduced this issue: Untick an item in the scan result of System Optimization->click Repair button and the unticked item will still be repaired.

We have reported the issue to our specialists and we will fix the issue in the next update of Advanced SystemCare.

Thank you all for your help on this issue.
