What is "DynamicContrast"?

My monitor has "DynamicContrast" feature,it's value scales from 1 to 5,and it disables the monitor's "Brightness" and "Contrast" options when turned on,i didn't notice much difference except for higher contrast when it's on and also i don't see difference when changing values from 1 to 5.

 

What "DynamicContrast" does and it's values (1-5)?

Yep, 'dynamic-contrast' is Supposed to mean that the Contrast-brightness is Supposed to be variable, or changes automatically as needed.

But I've noticed that some vendors Mis-use the term, when actually contrast does Not change Automatically but is a Manual setting instead.

Additionally, what should the default value be(1-5)? If we don't know what it means still.

I would try to find the Make & Model of the monitor you have, online search,

to see if there is information about what their 5 settings actually do.

My guess is that they are just different brightness-contrast settings.
