I must have missed something concerning the Settings for scanning.

'Prefer scheduling a scan late at night (time may vary), but not at Windows Start-up. How to do this?

Thank you!

Hi JC,

Roy is right, scheduling for Auto Scan is only available in IMF 2.0 PRO. It was also same for IMF 1.7.

Please have a look at the image below.

When you select Auto Scan tab and tick the radio button for "Automatically scan your computer at a scheduled time" option, green Change Schedule button will be highlighted and when you click on it, Task Schedule window will be opened.

You can adjust the frequency and time for the Automatic Scan in that window together with the usage with battery options for laptops.

Since scanning takes quite some time for large and full disks and it is CPU intensive, it is not recommended to do scanning tasks when only battery power (-not connected to AC outlet-) is used.

Cheers.

enoskype,

Once again, thank you for the specific guidance. The snapshot made it very easy to do.

I was hesitant about clicking anything on the Settings page for fear of really messing things up, again.

Regards,

JC
