Hi

I have most of the IObit software paid for and its done me proud so far.Not that I am a geek but getting rid of unless stuff and making me lappietop run better and slicker has to be good.

Ran the old Driver booster was very very quick.Said I had a couple of drivers out of date so updated.Being a sad person decided to right click on the more information on a few of the drivers.

Details attached.I am no expert..........most of the Lenovo drivers for the laptop were from 2006? might be the case ,laptops only 6 months old, but some of the others were more recent.

So where next starship warriors..................

Hi cockneyrebel,

Thank you for your feedback. I have forwarded this issue to our experts.

During the beta test phase, the database is not large enough. But it can be guaranteed in the final released official version.

Welcome to send more feedback or suggestions about Driver Booster on this forum.

Cheers

old drivers

Hi All,

i wouldn't mind betting that date is correct,

if CockneyRebel is using a defunct/old programme.

there are in my mind 2 options

1) a standard lenovo prog that has served them well

or 2 more unlikely

a specialised programme that has been dropped but still required/used by CR.

i couldn't read the driver details but it would be interesting to know what it is

OK Roy, you are right!

A short examination of a new Dell Laptop with Win 8 (x64) revealed that.

I think all the system home drivers used by Windows 8, stamped the date 2006/06/21 by MS.

Examples :

ACPI x64 PC

Provider : MS

Date : 21.6.2006

Version : 6.2.9200.16384

Standard PS/2 Keyboard

Provider : MS

Date : 21.6.2006

Version : 6.2.9200.16548

Generic USB Hub

Provider : MS

Date : 21.6.2006

Version : 6.2.9200.16384

Cheers.

I must admit was gob-smacked.
