Advanced System Care 7 Beta 1.0

Everything seems to be working better than ASC 6 no problems so far.

Driver Booster.

Found only 3 drivers on my system that needed updating Audio, Network and Video

Updated the Realtek Network Driver and the Realtek High Definition Driver, but the Driver for my Nvidia 560 Ti graphics card should not be updated as the latest Nvidia 326.41 beta Driver is still unstable and I have had to revert to the Nvidia 314.22 driver which is fully stable, updating to the latest driver is not always an advantage, and an option to ignore a particular driver update could be a good idea.

SSD Drives

I have an SSD Drive as my boot for windows 7 home premium 64 bit I would suggest that there be an option within settings to NOT defragment SSD Drives.

It is reported that defragmenting an SSD drive can reduce its lifetime, it's also not necessary because of the Trim function on these types of drive.

Hi howardtay, welcome to IObit forum! :-D

an option to ignore a particular driver update could be a good idea.

There is a workaround to ignore a specific driver for a while.

When you right click on the driver to be updated, there is an option to Ignore that driver in general, so it can be controlled from time to time by restoring that ignored general driver in the Settings at Ignored section if there is a newer driver.

BTW, I agree that it is a good idea to ignore a specific driver with a specific version.

Example:

Realtek's latest R 2.71 HD audio driver causes a BSOD and leaves the notebook without audio for XP sp3 in VAIO notebook . (R 2.70 works OK.)

We don't know if the next one to be released, will cause a BSOD or will work OK on that specific VAIO Notebook.

So your suggestion is a very valid one!

I would suggest that there be an option within settings to NOT defragment SSD Drives.

Both in Smart Defrag and Advanced System Care there are options in the Settings to ignore SSD drives from defragmentation.

Cheers.
