Problem: "An unhandled win32 exception occured in Awcl.exe"

Hi,

 

when I starts the Advanced WindowsCare V2 Personal, the one message from Visual Studio 2008 would be displayed.

 

The message is "An unhandled win32 exception occured in Awcl.exe"

Did you install your current version of AWC on top of a former version?

"Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select :"

may have been selected by Visua Studio 2008.

 

Possible solution :

 

1.. Right click My Computer / Properties.

2.. Click Advanced Tab

3.. Under Performance, click Settings

4.. Click Data Excecution Prevention tab

5.. Select Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only (This is default in XP)

6.. Restart Windows
