I know this has been asked many times, but no one has EVER answered it. I do NOT want you to harass me every time I turn my computer on telling me to upgrade to the next version. No! DON'T tell me" But you should upgrade" because that is not the point. It is MY FU**ING computer. NOT yours. I do what I want I MY ******* computer.

I really don't think that there have been any breakthrough advancements in he field of defragmenting that makes this update totally necessary.

I don't even have Smart Defrag to start up on Windows,. So it should not be ding ANYTHING in the background. So either tell me how to stop it, or tell me how to remove EVERY ******* trace of this piece of **** malware from my computer.

I totally agree with lakawak.

And I find it rather funny to ask for a screenshot... One would think, that those who have decided, that the program secretly should go online and search for updates, would know how the program announces that there is an update...

Programs that do no matter what without being told to and without asking for permission and without any obivious means of preventing such activity, are generally considered malware/trojans/viruses etc.

The fact that it secretly goes online to check for updates, makes me wonder if it is doing anything else while online???

I hope to see an answer stating, that there is a setting somewhere to prevent any activity not asked for, that I somehow have not seen.

As it seems right now, I will certainly get rid of this unacceptable behaving program, and post reviews wherever I come across an opportunity to do so, stating the fact that this program is not to be trusted, and should be labeled as malware.

"If you're happy with our products, please tell your friends, families and colleagues about IObit and IObit products! We'd be very grateful!" - well, I will certainly tell friends, families and colleagues that they should stay away from any program from a company that provides programs that uses their pc and goes online doing who knows what without them knowing about it.

It is really bad programming practise and unacceptable behaviour.

Having the program snooping around on my pc and online is far too high a price to pay for even a 'free' program.

Well....

One of my reason for get your programs was to stop POP_UP. If I can not block your pop ups can I get a refund

IObit products ARE the best of their kind.Having said that, their methods of advertising and updating are quite intrusive...

May I suggest emailing CHOICES to everyone instead?
