ASC 6 Not "Seeing" Cookies to Delete

I just installed Advanced System Care 6 after a clean Windows 8 install.

In the Ignore List-Browser Cookies there were possibly, 40 or 50 cookies on the cookies to keep side.

In settings I have Privacy Sweep -Internet Explorer-Cookies checked. I also checked Privacy Sweep and Junk Files Clean checked in the Care tab in the main screen.

 

First, how the heck did these cookies get into the Cookies to Keep side??

 

Second, after moving all these cookies back I ran another scan but ASC said there was "No Problem" and the cookies are still in the Cookies to Delete.

 

Am I missing something??

Thanks for your feedback.

 

First, " Cookies to keep" and "Cookies yo delete" are collected in our database. They are not detected from your PC when you install ASC.

 

Thus, if you do not browse online, there will be no cookies on your PC. ;-)

Choose the ones you want to delete in the right pane and click the ( < ) sign in the middle. They will be moved to left pane and will be deleted in the next Repair after Scan.

I did that and they're still there.

I take that back.

I needed to reboot in order for ASC to clear the list.
