Shoud I turn the option off if I am using an SSD?

I can see no reason why you would need to turn off active optimize if you are using an SSD. Active Optimize simply turns off inactive resources in order to make your machine more efficient. Unless you are experiencing specific problems with your SSD, then there is no reason to switch Active Optimize off. If you are having issues, then please post them and we will assist you.
